ConveniencePosted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: Close to arena
Cons: Updating and front desk professionalism talking very loud into radios for house keepers to clean rooms that should have been ready by 3:00 pm
Hotel close to save on memorial arena. Beds very hard and very dated rooms

Excellent location,.Posted Jun 7, 2014
Pros: staff were pleasant and helpful and the room was clean and had a fridge and microwave which were very helpful. thank you very much!
Cons: At this point, nothing,..we were very happy and it's not our first time staying there,..and will not be our last. :)
Location: We could walk out to dinner and to other shops nearby ,.to China town...and it was very pleasant. we are very happy customers.
Loved the location,..within walking distance to restaurants, and downtown.....and very close to the hospital and clinics to which I had to attend.

The room appeared clean, but found ashes in room.Posted Jun 1, 2014
Pros: Location only.
Location: Downtown, so walking distance to a lot.
I had been under the impression that breakfast was included. Not so. I think this place was over priced for the condition.

Great locationPosted May 30, 2014
Cons: More coffee for machine
We were just there for a single night, but the location is a nice walk from the waterfront. Staff were friendly and helpful and room was clean.

Good clean hotelPosted May 29, 2014
Pros: It is nice to enter from the parking area rather than going in a hotel lobby, to the elevator and find your room on whatever floor.
Cons: A fan in the bathroom.
Location: We were within 20 minutes of the Empress and museum.....tons of restaurants but not in a noisy area.
We enjoyed our stay. The room are fine, nothing special but well taken care of and clean. They are in the process of renovating the rooms. The staff were great and the price was right.

Economy price hotel close to City centre.Posted May 25, 2014
Pros: I have stayed at this hotel many times since it is economical, has a good restaurant and is close to the city centre of Victoria.
Cons: The only downside is that the TV could do with an upgrade!
This hotel was very good. The ground floor rooms provide good access to parking.

Best Motel I've ever been inPosted May 12, 2014
Room was very clean, big, and comfortable, outside was very quiet. Felt better than some three and half star hotels. I will stay there again if I'll go visit Victoria again some time. The location is great too, downtown, just walk two blocks to the south then you get everything.

Would stay again, would love to see improvementsPosted May 7, 2014
Pros: I love the location, we didn't have a car and walked everywhere in downtown Victoria . I love the old school feel and the price is great.
Cons: Wishlist: better WIFI, working safes, better beds, it would be cool if they renovated and played up the retro aspect, though prices would go up.
Location: Just west of China Town area, Great restaurants nearby, cool vintage store (duchess & duke), We walked downtown and all the way to Beacon hill.
Staff at Check in/Check out were very friendly, house keeping was friendly. The room was a good size. The beds were average comfort, nothing fancy but clean sheets and coverlet. Sink and mirror separate from toilet and bathtub, which is handy if someone is getting ready and the other wants to shower and you are travelling with a friend. The furniture is (tv cabinet, dresser, desk) were older and mismatched if it matters to you. The TV is not a flat screen, again if it matters- it worked fine. There was a safe, which did not work, really would have preferred if it did work, as it is downtown and all rooms have outside entrance. Wifi was pretty slow to not working most of the time.
