walking distance to most things

Posted Jun 26, 2015
Pros: close to the harbour. Staff were very accomadating.
Cons: air conditioning. But it really wasn't to bad. We kept our curtains closed for the entire week which wasn't pleasant but we got used to it.
Location: the harbor, museum. Lots of places to eat close by.
the room was small but we learned to like it. It has a B&B feeling to it. The staff was great!!

A good, convenient, quiet central hotel

Posted Jun 10, 2015
Pros: Central location.
Cons: No real problems.
Location: Open air bus tour, whale-watching, easy access to Government Street and shops, BC Museum, Parliament building. Also not far to Governor's Residence.
The hotel is extremely well situated for exploring Downtown Victoria. The room was very spacious, and included its own kitchenette. It overlooked the internal courtyard, and was very quiet. Breakfast cost extra, but was reasonably priced and substantial. The staff were attentive and thoughtful. The lift was spacious. Taxis could pull up outside easily.

Pros: Room was adequate for 1 person - very clean with staff in hotel and adjoining restaurant being very accommodating.
Cons: Windows were very dirty.
Location: Downtown location conducive to shopping and actvities/nite life; also close to the harbour and other touristy attractions.
Hotel is downtown, with lots of noise and street people/beggars.

great location

Posted Jun 9, 2015
great location and excellent rates for the budget conscious traveller. If you are driving, the onsite parking is very small and you have to get your car in early to get a spot. Staff are friendly and helpful. Though the property is old, the rooms are clean and bright and well appointed for a quiet nights rest.

Great Location

Posted Jun 2, 2015
Pros: It offers a lovely courtyard and a great restaurant.
Location: The location of the hotel is walking distance to the all that is available on the waterfront, as well as the Save-on- Food Arena.
I was greeted by very friendly staff. Having a bit of a problem getting the gate open to the underground parking one of the staff on the front desk came and got the gate open for me and did this with a smile..

Close to everything!

Posted May 23, 2015
Pros: How close it was to every thing! location was great!
Cons: The beds were very uncomfortable especially for me as I have had hip replacement and it felt like I was sleeping on stones. Need a little more cleanin
It is an older hotel but clean and the staff are very accommodating Some things were not working like the pool was closed. The first room I had smelled of smoke but they were quick to change me to one that didn't smell. Parking was good and it was nice and close to every amenity. No air conditioning though but they did supply us with a very good fan. A bit noisy as the people overhead were pretty lead footed. Halls were noisy till quite late.

Pros: Very clean, things were organized and in available places and staff was willing to help.
Cons: I don't think anything.
Location: Location was great, lots of good restaurants nearby and short distance to inner harbor and legislature and tourist information centre
The person at the front desk when we arrived was Victoria, she was very welcoming and very helpful, we were only a couple of blocks from the water front and loved the location. The room was very roomy and comfortable at a very affordable price.Very happy with our stay.

Nice hotel right down town

Posted May 15, 2015
Second time have stayed at Quality Inn. Older but well maintained hotel. Clean, comfortable and the staff was excellent. Take the YYJ shuttle from the airport and you can walk anywhere in the town center in 10-15 minutes. Highly recommend for budget trips.
