“comfortable hotel rooms”

I always like to stay at Red Lion Hotels when I travel. I find the level of service and room comfort to be outstanding. The Victoria location is no exception. I especially enjoyed the fridge and micowave and free internet. The rooms are standard size but beautifully decorated. The bed was also very comfortable.

“a nice place”

Good Value for what I have paid. The room is clean, comfortable and very quite. The Location is convenience. I also enjoyed the Dim Sum at the Chinese Restaurant of the Hotel. Victoria in JUNE is very beautiful. There are a lot of flowers everywhere.

“A Good Choice”

While the hotel is very comfortable, clean with plenty of parking, and there are restaurants in the area (including a nice Chinese restaurant connected to the hotel), keep in mind that it is several miles outside downtown Victoria on a commercial strip. Public transportation is not convenient. Otherwise, it's fine.

“Convenient Location for Exploring”

We chose this location because we were going to be travelling to several parts of the island, and thought it might work best for us to be just a little outside of downtown. This worked well for us. We were only ten minutes from downtown, and very near the freeways to travel both West and North of Victoria. The rooms were very small, but clean and comfortable.

“Very nice place to stay with a friendly staff”

I haven't stayed at many hotels, but this place was very nice and I felt somewhat at home there. It had a comfy bed, a nice love seat, a good TV, and the sink, microwave, and dishes were quite nice to have. The cleaning staff were always friendly and did an excellent job of keeping the room clean (though I don't really mess anything up). When I go back to Victoria without a doubt I will be staying here again.

“excellent room”

Excellent room setting. Openable windows with Air condition is necessary for me. Kitchen facilities in the room are very much appreciated.

“Good Stay”

This hotel has everything we need. The room is very quite and comfortable. There is a full gym across the street, we used it in the morning with complementary passes offered by the hotel. We also enjoyed a dinner in the restaurant of the hotel. It was excellent! Over all, we had a pleasant stay.

“Great place to stay”

Both the service and the front desk help were excellent. The restaurant at the hotel (Jade Fountain) had great chinese food. The only disadvantage was ...there was no breakfast coffee shop on the premises.

“We will go back”

Since my husband has some heath issues, we always reserve a hotel room with a kitchenette so that we can prepare our own meals while traveling. This was also the primary reason for us to reserve a room at this hotel. We often encounter a problem with this type of hotel room, which seems to have an odd kitchen smell in those rooms. Surprisingly, we found this hotel did pay close attention to solve this problem. They use hardwood flooring instead of carpets, which helps to keep the kitchenette units clean and odour free. Another detail they added was to make the kitchens’ hood fans with direct outside ventilation. It seems a simple thing to do, but most hotels would rather install their hood fans without venting, so that those hood fans can only circulate the air within the suite through a useless and grassy filter. That night at the hotel, we didn’t feel like sleeping in a Chinese, or East Indian Kitchen, or Italian Kitchen…we felt like sleeping at home. We would definitely like to recommend this hotel and would go back again.
