“Swans is wonderful.”

Swans is great overall. Great location in chinatown. Great restaurant and pub with nightly live music. Clean, updated rooms and friendly helpful staff. I will definitely stay here again with a large party.

“Excellent hotel”

We stayed at Swans Suite for two days. Our suite was fabulous, kitchen and living room on first floor, lofted with Tow bedrooms on 2nd floor Only thing I'd change was that the bathroom was on the first floor; Cool little pub attached to hotel with a nice menu and live music at night . We just loved the location of the hotel.

“Great Place to Stay in Victoria!”

Very clean, very friendly. They even moved up our check in time from 4pm to 10:30am! That's unheard of! Also in a great location and proximity to the ferry terminal.

“Great hotel suite in Victoria”

We had a two-bedroom suite, which was great. I only wish there had been one more bathroom and that it was on the upstairs floor with the bedrooms. Also, neither one of our bedrooms had windows. However, they did have skylights that opened. We enjoyed the fact that the adults got a free small beer (and kids a root beer) in the attached brew pub. The pub was great, and we enjoyed the food and the live music.

“Wonderful Stay”

The Swans Suite Hotel in Victoria BC is a wonderful place to stay. I went with my husband sister and brother- in-law. Our room was n the third floor directly across from the elevator. It had a open kitchen living area a loft for the comfortable king bed. My only disappointment with our room was the bath was down on the kitchen/living area. The hotel offers a full bar with great food (and their own renowned beer). I would return in a heart beat.

“good place for couples!”

Loved the small front desk area. It had interesting artwork and beautiful detailed woodwork. The lady who checked us in was VERY helpful and friendly. The room was spacious. We wondered why, with all the other amenities they provided, there were no dresser drawers. Had to leave a lot of our clothing in the suitcases. The waitress in the bar was also very friendly and helpful - a big plus for us. We were pleasantly surprised by the live entertainment. The night we checked it out, they had a band playing swing music from the 20's and 30's with an active following tearing up the dance floor! It was a lot of fun! Maid service was less than expected.

“Would stay again”

Very warm and comfortable hotel, large well maintaned rooms. Close to some nice pubs and restaurants. Cool little brew pub atttached to hotel with a nice menu and live music at night. Only draw back a lot of homeless people in the surrounding neighborhood but no big deal. Found out the hotel was donated to the University of Victoria when the orignal owner died so the money goes to the college. Would stay again.

“Victoria home away from home”

If you're looking for somewhere to stay and want to cook yourself breakfast, I recommend the Swans. It's in a pretty central location and one block off of Chinatown. The bar is great downstairs with good live music but I'm not a huge fan of their microbrews I would stay with the stuff in the bottles even though they come off looking like they know how to make beer, I think they need to work on the craft there. The rooms are quiet and spacious with a kitchen and upstairs/downstairs layout. NIce for having a few friends over for breakfast or a bottle of wine. Overall I'm pretty happy with the spot and would recommend it over much more expensive options nearby.
