“Winter visit 2011”
Really enjoyed our stay. Megan went out of her way to please us. The only hesitation I have is the soft DOUBLE beds.
“Won't go back”
This hotel requested that we give them a $200 security deposit upon checking in because of potential damage to room. I've never heard of such a thing other than security damage deposits for apartment/house rentals. I thought this was a sleazy to treat customers. It did not encourage me to desire to do business with Admiralty Inn again.
“Excellent Budget Hotel in Great Location.”
2nd time we stayed at this very clean Hotel. Staff is very friendly, very tourist friendly. Enjoyed the visit, reasonable price. It's a perfect location and less than a block from Pablo's a superb gourmet restaurant, a few blocks from the Empress Hotel.
“Disappointing”
I had stayed at the Admiral Inn about 6 times before but will not return following this incident.
“"Good bargain, great location"”
Very pleasantly surprised to find that our lodging was just around the corner from the ferry. Even though we arrived early, the staff let us check in. Quickly discovered how close we were to downtown, which means we didn't have to drive much. The entire place was neat and clean. The staff was very helpful and polite. The continental breakfast was more than adequate and negated the need to go out for breakfast. Overall the Admiral Inn was a great bargain in an otherwise expensive location. Without question, we would stay there again.
“One of the best values in Victoria”
Great staff and personal attention. Nothing fancy, but clean, well maintained older property in a great location on the inner harbor and unbeatable value. Beautiful landscaped gardens and courtyard. Quiet. Free breakfast included bagels, english muffins, toast, fruit, boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee, tea, and juices. My wife and I were there in mid-September.
“Great Location!”
Very nice room, at great location and good price!
“Absolutely Perfect!”
We had a wonderful time. Everything was perfect. Roomy room. Clean. Weather was good. We didn't use the kitchenette but it was stocked and ready for us. Close to the Clipper dock. Not a luxurious place but well worth the money -- quaint and fun. Breakfast was very basic but certainly okay. Glad we found the Victoria.
“Admiral Inn was the best place to stay in Victoria”
Admiral Inn is located within walking distance from the Victoria Express terminal. This was very convenient since we arrived from Seattle on Victoria Express. The hotel is very nicely decorated and in a very quiet neighborhood of Victoria. It took us about 5 minutes to get to the Inner Harbor and downtown Victoria. The breakfast was very well organized and had a good selection of choices such as muffins, eggs, orange juice, toast, and yogurt. The room was very clean and the mattress was very soft. I had no trouble sleeping on it even with my back problems. Overall. we enjoyed our stay at Admiral Inn and will return again in the future.
“Homey hotel in Victoria”
While this hotel is older than many in the inner harbor area,it's location is ideal and our experience here was great. The staff went out of their way to assist us and were very friendly. The accomodations are nice, not fancy, but we got a mini-suite style room for much less than you would normally get for a basic room at another hotel. We'll be back and we'll be recommending it to friends.
