“Very cool hotel”
Contemporary design with nice finishes. Rooms are great - spacious. Even the studios are large with nearly a full kitchen. I was upgraded to a studio bedroom and it was huge - very nice! The restaurant is also excellent. We ate dinner on the outside patio. Food was excellent. Breakfast menu is small, little pricey. Conveniently located a block from the ferry terminal.
“Fabulously Relaxing”
My suite was clean, comfortable & quiet. I stayed 3 nights @ the height of summer tourist season and was very pleased. Close to all amenities & sights, yet enough off the beaten track to be quiet & relaxing. Staff were very friendly & helpful; parking fees were reasonable; bed & pillows were sublime. I really couldn't have been more pleased.
“Stylish and clean”
Very good hotel and I fully recommend it but give their dinning room a pass for breakfast as it is unappealing, limited and over-priced. The many restaurants nearby will easily outperform.
“A great experience!”
I've stay in many hotels over the years, but this has to be one of the best overall experiences I have ever had. I would plan another trip to Victoria just to stay here again!
“The Finest Service I have had a hotel in 20 years!”
Excellent location. This is a beautiful property with a very thoughtful management team and staff. This hotel is as good as it gets!
“A Really Great Hotel”
The Oswego is a great hotel. The rooms are beautifully appointed with new, modern features and incredible, large, bathrooms. The physical aspects of this hotel are top notch. But that's not even the best part. The staff is outstanding, helpful, courteous and just plain terrific. This is one of the best hotel experiences I have had in over 35 years of travel. On par with the great hotels anywhere. The location, just a block from the Inner Harbor in Victoria BC is also a plus.
“Would go back again”
We stayed in the hotel for two nights. We had a suite and it was wonderfully self contained. It was like a fully furnished apartement. There was a kitchen with a microwave oven, stove, sink, pots, pans, dishes, coffee makers, kettle, etc. There was a pull out couch which was comfortable and a bedroom with a balcony door from it. The balcony view was fantastic. We didn't eat in the dining room so I can't comment but the reception staff were friendly and eager to be of service. They always greeted us even if they were busy.
“BEST hotel in Victoria!”
exceptional service, decor, rooms are terrific, VERY pet friendly, easy walk to everywhere, great neighborhood feel - we will stay here again to be sure!!
“Well located, beautiful room”
We've been upgraded from a 1 to a 2 bedroom suite. Modern interior, well equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms, very comfortable.
“Very comfortable - great for family”
Stayed for 3 nights in December, and had a great stay at the Oswego hotel. The 1BR suite was very comfortable and roomy for a family of four. The full kitchen was a great help in preparing meals, and the hotel location is ideal--in a quiet area just 2 blocks from the harbour. It was an easy walk to restaurants, shopping, ferry terminal, etc. even in cold weather. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay there again and have already recommended to friends.
