Excellent hotel in all aspectsPosted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: See above comment.
Cons: Only the WiFi system!
Location: As mentioned before, the location is great, with restaurants, marina, water taxis, harbour plane and shops all walk distance from the hotel.
I enjoyed this hotel on a business trip about three years ago and now I came here with my wife to rest in comfort. I rate Oswego as one of the nicest boutique hotels I know like the Murray Premises in St. John's, NL. The facilities are top rated, location location couldn't have been better, clean and lovely appointed rooms and the staff are so nice and eager to help. My only comment is that the WiFi must be upgraded in order to work properly.

Great hotel close downtownPosted Apr 15, 2015
We really enjoyed our stay - we'll be back. The only negative was the noisy constitution across the street, but none of that is the hotels fault.

Nice hotel and great location.Posted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: Rooms were big and very clean. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.
Nice hotel situated very close to harbour. Walking distance to everything you want to see.....Parliment Building, museums, downtown shops and restaurants. The walk along the harbour is great from China Town all the way to Fisherman's Wharf.

Soccer tournamentPosted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: The staff, the room and the fact that everything is close by.
Cons: The parking cost should be included in the hotel cost.
Location: Everything is pretty much in walking distance from this hotel.
While in Victoria for a soccer tournament my husband and I stayed at the Oswego hotel. During the tournament my husband was injured, his ankle became swollen and very sore. We called the front desk and the girl immediately brought to our room a bag of ice. The staff were very helpful and courteous. We found the hotel to be in a prime location and the rooms clean and very comfortable. We loved this place and will return!

Great Hotel, Loves Dogs!Posted Apr 10, 2015
Pros: We love to take our dog with us everywhere we go and the Oswego is the place to go for dog friendly. They welcome dogs with open arms.
Location: Within walking distance to everything Victoria has to offer
We have been staying at the Oswego for several years now and have never had a bad experience. The hotel is beautiful and modern and in a great location within walking distance to everything Victoria has to offer. The fact they are dog friendly puts it over the top for us as we like to have our pup with us whenever we go away for a weekend. A personal card with treats, a map of the dog park, bowls and a dog bed are always in our room upon arrival. The only hitch I find as far as room comfort is the traveller should be aware there is no air conditioning in the rooms at the Oswego. I personally would be wary of staying there between Mid May and September as the rooms do heat up fast and without AC, this can make for a very sticky nights sleep. There are ceiling fans in each room however these just push the hot air around the room. I learned this the hard way a couple of years back by staying in the summer months and the rooms were painfully hot, forcing me to sleep with a chair wedged in the door to the air conditioned hallway. Overall, we love the Oswego, just not in the summer months.

Nice hotel close to the harbor and restaurantsPosted Apr 1, 2015
Great location. 2 min walk from Clipper terminal. Very close to downtown with great restaurants and bars. They allow pets but it isn't mentioned on their site about a charge of $15 a night. We didn't know this when we took our dog with us and we were surprised to find it at checkin.

Perfect hotel in Victoria.Posted Mar 28, 2015
We were busying friends and family for a few nights. I love the location and size of this hotel. Not too close to tourist district and not a huge , dated building. Great amenities so we are able to have fruit, hummus etc in hotel room . Love the art work throughout. The carpets in the room are maybe due for a clean. Otherwise it is great. Would stay again and again:)
