More than expectedPosted Aug 12, 2014
It was an awesome experience. When I booked looking at the pictures and reading reviews, my expectations weren't that high. The hotel is perfectly located and it's modern and beautiful. Loved it. My only complain it's with the shades. They let the light in in the morning.

Easy walking distance to most everything.Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: Very quiet and peaceful. Located in residential area, and when we returned each day if felt like we were going home rather than back to a hotel.
Location: Use your travel guide as we did, but DO NOT miss Craigdarroch Castle.
Very close to inner harbor on the north with all of the attractions it holds, and the beach, bluffs, and ocean front parks in the south. Easy walking.

Close to downtown, walking distance.Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: See above
Cons: Studio room has an air conditioner with a vent hole output into the window which causes a problem with blinds not closing. Very bright first thing AM.
Location: Downtown, close to harbour, parliament building, shopping, paths, etc
Boutique hotel experience was very nice. Recommend.

Good Service is Always in StylePosted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Rooms are spotlessly clean and spacious.
Location: Located in a quiet residential neighborhood only two blocks from the Inner Harbor and walking distance to all the attractions.
The Oswego Hotel bills itself as a "chic" and "urban" hotel. This seems to be what a lot of the newer hotels want to brag about these days, and make no mistake, the Oswego is a cool-looking hotel with all the right sleek and contemporary fixings. However, that is not this hotel's true strength. The Oswego's true strength is its ability to provide good old-fashioned customer service. The room was spotlessly clean and the staff extremely professional and helpful. This hotel provides spacious accommodation in Victoria that is within walking distance of all the attractions. I can't think of any reason you would want to stay anywhere else.

Nice Stay in VictoriaPosted Aug 2, 2014
Pros: The staff was friendly. The room had a good layout, with a kitchen, and full-size fridge.
Cons: Spa services are only offered in-room. Additionally, the room had some visible wear and tear.
Location: The hotel was located in that good blend of proximity to tourist centers and a quiet neighborhood.
The Oswego offers nice one and two bedroom rooms close to the inner harbor, but away from the hustle and bustle. Dining on-site was adequate, but again the hotel is close enough to the inner harbor to provide access to premier dining locations. The room was clean but had some light staining on the floors and could become stuffy during the day. However, the hotel staff was accommodating, the room was comfortable overall, and the hotel had underground parking and a laundry room. A good place to stay with kids.

Great stay!Posted Jul 29, 2014
The location was great and everything was very walkable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the premium 1bdrm suite and it had tons of space and any amenity you would need. I would stay here again on my next stay in Victoria.

Excellent hotel all around!Posted Jul 28, 2014
Staff was amazing and friendly. When booking the hotel, I had left a comment that it was my husband's birthday weekend so if there was anything special they could do, it would be appreciated. When we entered our room there was a special treat and card. It was so thoughtful and just the extra special touch needed that meant so much. We had one of the highest rooms facing the west side which allowed amazing views of the water and Olympics. An excellent stay and we'd definitely recommend to anyone!
