Nice clean hotel close to downtown victoria

Posted Dec 23, 2014
The hotel was very clean and having a full kitchen with all the proper utensils. I must add that the cookware was new, something not common with hotels with in suite kitchens. The parking was decently priced, we were able to leave our car in peace. The facility is gated and brightly lit. The hotel is in a good part of town, literally blocks away from downtown but without the loud noise. Hotel staff are accommodating and professional , I felt welcomed every time I walked through the lobby. One thing I must say is that food in Victoria isn't that great, the restaurants nearby are not worth trying.

Easy walking distance from the Clipper, and a great launching place to explore downtown Victoria on foot.

Great stay....easy walk to all Victoria has to offer....we have stayed in many Victoria hotels in this area and in this price range....the Oswego has to be the best value for Money.

Never fails to impress

Posted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: This boutique hotel is modern, comfortable and welcoming.
Cons: Perhaps the lighting in bathroom
Location: Close to the Legislative Building, Ferry from US and short walk to Government Street. Walk the opposite way on Oswego to ocean at Dallas Road.
The Oswego is a boutique hotel situated close to the centre of Victoria. It is modern, comfortable and welcoming.

Nice place in Victoria. Great location.

Hotel has charm. Staff are very good. Boutique feel but the rooms kind of lack a bit. Carpets in the rooms are dated and could use a deep clean to bring the back to life. Other then that it's a great hotel for the price you can't go wrong. I would be happy to stay here again.

Anniversary weekend

Posted Dec 2, 2014
Pros: We loved the fact that they had a full kitchen, so we didn't have to leave the room too much.
Location: 2 minute walk to the Parliament Building, and 10 minutes from downtown Victoria, and there is too much to write down to do in Victoria.
We booked a weekend stay at Oswego Hotel, and couldn't be more happier. The suite was magnificent, and had a view of the Parliament building which was lit up for Xmas. Nice, and quiet which was exactly what we were looking for.

Everything was great, from checking in to checking out. The staff is fabulous, very friendly and helpful and they go above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable. We will most definitely return to the Oswego.

Home away from home!

Pros: location price value
Location: The Empress Hotel for High Tea, although expensive definitely something to do one in a lifetime. A walk along the inner harbour or a ghost walk
This hotel is basically a condo seeing as it has a bedroom, large bathroom and living room/kitchen as well as balcony. It was clean and had everything you will need. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The location is close to everything you'd want to see in Victoria as well as a 10 minute walk to the bus station. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom large and the kitchen stocked with pots and pans and utensils.

Great stay

Pros: lobby, restaurant, staff, room with amenities and full kitchen, linens.
Cons: The bed is supposed to be queen but seems like a double, mattress should be changed as had grooves where people have slept. Garage door opening
Excellent facility, great staff, wonderful restaurant and foyer
