Fantastic

Modern hotel, great location and really friendly staff. Has all the ammenaties you can ask for. Only downsides are the pool chafing room isn't bi genough and you have to pay for breakfast. Come on Parkside, free continental breakfast isn't a lot to ask for - all your competitors do it - you'd be top of the pile of you did.

Nice hotel, great location

Posted Jul 24, 2015
We stayed with our two daughters in a one bedroom suite. Overall this is a great central hotel from which to explore Victoria. It has a lot of great touches like a beautiful lobby and koi fish which our kids loved, pool toys and lifejackets for kids and very comfortable rooms. There were a couple of minor irritations - the cable we could access from living room and bedroom tvs was different and our patio door handle was broken, difficult to close, and blew open a couple of times. At check in we were held until exactly 4 pm before being allowed to check-in despite them telling us at 2 pm that they would text when the room was available and that it should be available shortly. When I checked back at 3:50 it was still not ready. This was annoying and front desk staff were not helpful. As noted, these were minor and overall we enjoyed our stay and will return.

Near park Beacon Hill Park

Posted Jul 22, 2015
Pros: Great rooms
Cons: Closer restaurant
Location: Centrally located and close to all of Victoria's attractions
A few blocks from the wharf but close to everything. Across from St Ann's and Beacon Hill Park. Spacious, comfortable rooms. Staff not so helpful and maid services lax. Pool and spa area big and well appointed. Breakfast & cafe just ok.

Spacious rooms, good location, great value

Exceeded my expectations. easy walk to downtown, museum, harbor, good restaurants, shopping etc. loved the spacious suite at great price. Room was clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. We loved the hotel's restaurant which was very casual and had great food at reasonable prices. Fabulous coffee and great outside seating.

Nice in winter I am sure!

Posted Jul 12, 2015
Pros: The koi pond, the pool
Cons: AC!!!
Location: Good location, also a little loud
This hotel was nice enough but there is no AC. There was a note on our desk asking us to open the windows if we are too hot. It was super hot!! I would never, ever stay here again during heat wave, that's for sure. Other than that, it was nice.

nice hotel with friendly staff

Posted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: a very good location, close to all attractions but in a quite neighbourhood.
Location: We walked to the parliament building and the Empress Hotel. We visited a historic church nearby the hotel.
We were upgraded to a suite with a full sized open kitchen. Cooking utensils were clean and complete. Swimming pool was clean.

So Nice!

Posted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: It was very elegant, yet comfortable. They were filming a movie in the front of the hotel the morning we left!
Cons: A choice of softer pillows!
Location: Easy walk to downtown Victoria and short drive to Butchart Gardens.
Beautiful room - and balcony with table and chairs. Room was well aired out and comfortable temperature. A bath tub with a view was a nice extra, although I did not use it. The bed was very comfortable although the pillows were way to hard. The room was exceptionally nice, except for the pillows.

Very central

Very central for all our Victoria activities. Everything was great and very good overall value. Although no airconditioning we were not uncomfortable in any way! Loved our stay.
