Enjoyed our brief stay. Liked the terrace and the landscape. If we go the Vancover Island again we will stay there again.

Beautiful placePosted Jul 27, 2014
We had a nice stay at this resort. It was away from the attractions in Victoria and would be great for someone looking for resort facilities. We didn't use them but we still had to pay a resort fee.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful settingPosted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: The luxury of the one-bedroom suite, the view from the restaurant patio.
Cons: Provide umbrellas at building entries to use when walking between buildings in the complex; customers can return them to receptacles before leaving.
We stayed in a Fairways Building One-Bedroom suite - it was beautiful and huge, with a flagstone floor, fireplace, 2 bathrooms, kitchen with dishwasher, and huge balcony. We loved it and definitely plan on coming back. The food in the restaurant was great, and the view from the restaurant patio was amazing.

Very nice hotel with beautiful viewsPosted Jul 2, 2014
We stayed at the Westin Bear Mountain Resort for the first time over the Canada day long weekend for our 4 year anniversary. We booked a room in the fairways building with a mountain view, and were very pleasantly surprised with how spacious and private it was (king one bedroom suite with full kitchen, 2 bathrooms) Very friendly and accommodating staff. Views were beautiful, room was very clean and the amenities were convenient. Only negative thing we experienced was the guests upstairs were very audible. It would be nice if the rooms were soundproofed better.

Only close to golfingPosted Jun 30, 2014
Cons: Bedding sheets are dirty and worn out. Lighting in rooms is to dim. Not enough utensils in the kitchen to cook properly if you are thinking of cooking
Location: Walk and golf.
Stayed here 7 years ago. Has aged and deteriorated since. Not the high end experience we had the first time.

When compared to other facilities available in the Victoria area, the Westin is the best price for the quality of the resort. It's a first class place! The room was immaculate, large, and offered a kitchenette to keep our picnic supplies. The only annoyances about our stay were two things: the lack of sound proofing between rooms and the dim lights within the room. Having said that, we only heard the neighbors twice and got used to the lighting. We plan to stay at Bear Mountain again in the fall!

Weekend awayPosted May 26, 2014
Just got home from a 2 night stay at the Westin Bear Mountain. Was pleasantly surprised about how nice everything was and how much there is to do up there. Will be staying there again. We had the Sunday brunch offered in the restaurant. The selection was not as large as most brunches but everything was high quality, very fresh and quickly replenished. Reservations recommended - worth the money for a lovely meal.

Beautiful scenery & golf coursePosted May 17, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, beautiful views. Very relaxing place.
Cons: Restaurants. A seafood restaurant would be nice as there is not any in Langford except Fish & chip places
Location: Bit of a drive up the mountain. Hwy not far so can reach Victoria's attractions. Nanaimo only 1-1 1/2 hr up the Malahat(gorgeous drive)
We were in Langford visiting friends. Not a lot of hotel choices in the area. We had a mini suite(frig & microwave w/ dishes & utensils) we did not use the golfing facilities although they looked very nice & the mountain scenery was beautiful. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Definitely would return
