Crisp Mountain Air.

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: They accommodated our pet with a room ideally situated for walks etc. Gorgeous bathroom, deep tub and wonderful rainfall shower.
Cons: Remove the resort fee if not using the using the resort's facilities.
Location: If you're a nature lover this is a great place for walks. Dining facilities are abundant and varied. If you're a golfer a beautiful course awaits.
The most comfortable beds of any hotel we've stayed in. Even our little dog enjoyed the stay.

Out of the way

Posted Mar 23, 2015
The resort is beautiful but is definitely out of the way - you must have a vehicle if your planning on staying at this resort. We were in Victoria for a mini vacation and planned to site see and found the resort quite a distance from any of the major attractions we were planning on taking in. If golfing is your reason for visiting the course looks incredible!

Nice hotel, pretty surroundings.

Posted Feb 18, 2015
We stayed here to visit family. The staff were helpful and the room was nice. Bed was so SO comfortable. Resturant was good for breakfast, didn't get to eat in the evening because it was fully booked, would recommend booking a table a couple of weeks in advance.

Fun for the Whole Family

Posted Feb 12, 2015
We stayed with our two kids ages 10 and 13 and really enjoyed the facilities. The heated outdoor pool was great. The hotel is close to shopping and also lots of walking trails and hiking.

Never again....

Posted Feb 10, 2015
When I arrived I was greated by the front counter receptionist who literally had me checked in, in less than 60 seconds. When I tried to ask her a specific question, it was as though she tried to either change the subject or did not understand the question I was asking.Regardless, my question was not answered. The air condition unit was so loud that woke me up serveral times in the night and I had to lower the thermostat so it stayed off There was a bad patch job on the ceiling that appeared as though someone had tried to fix an exterior leak....possible mold issues? I guess it was just bad like that I was put in a room/floor where there were childing staying as they were running and screaming up and down the halls and then to add to the noise, someone/somewhere there was the sporatic movement of furniture at times what sounded like a room over and sometimes over my head on the next floor. Then lets add the $18 service (hidden) fee that I was only told about when I checked in. So in short, I was there for 1 day/2 nights at a costs of approximately $350, not impressed and NEVER AGAIN.

Dear Cyndie, I'm very sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your recent stay as we never want guests to leave the resort feeling like you did. I hope you were able to report the issues you experienced at the time they occurred so that we had the opportunity to correct them for you and for our future guests. As for your concern over the resort fee, our intention is not to hide this from any of our guests which is why we ensure it is displayed prominently on Expedia's website as well as our own. Nice rooms, great bathrooms. Awesome balcony view. I was not greeted at the door or offered help with bags but I had family help. The breakfast prices were a bit high but the food was excellent.

Quiet Location

Posted Jan 7, 2015
Pros: Quiet location. Room space.
Cons: Internet speed and reliable WiFi connection.
Stayed for New Year's Eve. Unfortunately, the whole restaurant and lounge area was booked off for a private reception. Went across the street to the pub for a bite but it, too, was booked off for a private function. The hostess there was nice to allow us into a side room and serve us items off the menu. The negatives of the place: ice machines not well marked on which floors in the main building. They are on floors 3 and 5. However, the machine on floor 3 was not working. Do not take the side service stairs if are the athletic type. They are locked to one way entry. The internet is crappy slow with poor intermittent connection. The room is nice and quiet. Lots of space. However, our room balcony was shared with other adjacent units which means little to no privacy. You hear your next door guests talking up a storm.

Good hotel

Posted Jan 3, 2015
Pros: Great comfortable beds.
Cons: A bit of wear and tear in the halls and in the suite.
Location: Location is good if you are looking to stay on the mountain. 20 minute drive to city and any decent restaurants.
Great hotel with a nice pool and hot tub in the clubhouse. The beds are very comfortable and the adjoining suite with full kitchen was a good size. Nice get away but far from any decent restaurants and from Victoria.
