Quiet Little Hotel

Posted Aug 22, 2014
The hotel is small but kept quite clean. The staffs are friendly and willing to help. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, about 10 min drive from downtown victoria.

Enjoyed Our Stay

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Staff and management personnel.
Very kind and helpful staff. Room cleanliness was excellent. Pool is warm. We were moved to a room to accommodate our needs. Thank you to Travelodge. We have never had bad experience staying at one.

Easy access to downtown

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Near to downtown
Cons: Provide breakfast
Location: Close to access the waterfront
Has a Pub that was playing loud music and had karaoke. When we asked to move because of the noise and our small children, they pleasantly moved us to a free upgrade room away from the pub.

Pleasant stay at the Travelodge in Victoria

Posted Aug 16, 2014
We had a pleasant stay at the Travelodge in Victoria. It was easy to find the hotel but a little more complicated to bring the luggage to the second floor. The room spacious as it had a kitchenette.

Quiet but close to activities.

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: Clean and pleasant.
Cons: Room below the restaurant should not be rented.
Location: Close to downtown Victoria with all it has to offer, and direct road access (two turns) to Butchart Gardens.
Once found the stay was OK, but with noise of foot traffic from above once the restaurant was opened. The driving directions did not specify that you need to turn West on Hillside Road, Cross Douglas to continue on Gorge Road.

Disgustingly dirty room

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Hotel is rundown and was very unimpressed with the cleanliness of our room. The room had a terrible smell in it and was not clean at all, the bathroom was still dirty and even had hair stuck to the back of the door. The smell in the room was gross and even after leaving the door and window open to air out the smell was still there. The room was just overall very dirty and we just pulled the blankets off the bed as they smelled as well and found more hair stuck in the headboard. We checked out after only one night and stayed at a different hotel. Would never stay here again!

Good location

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: The location, quiet but close to downtown.
Cons: The carpets in common areas.
It was good to stay over. The hotel may need a little renovation, but it was OK overall. The room was clean and cool and with an excellent view to the Parliament Building.
