Close to the Airport.Posted Feb 21, 2014
We have stayed there many times on our way to the US or Mexico & I also booked my relatives from Germany at the Travelodge for 2 nights. The rooms are very clean, beds are extremely comfortable and the staff is very accommodating. We will stay here every time we are flying out of Victoria.

We found the hotel very convenient for our stay in Sidney within easy walking distance to everything and not difficult to get buses to Victoria

Cheap and convenientPosted Jan 14, 2014
Pros: Proximity to the airport is good and there is a good pub adjacent to the hotel.
Cons: The wifi.
While the price and location were good, the wifi, at least in the rear rooms, was dismal to the point of making this hotel a non-option for most business travelers. When the failing wifi was pointed out to the desk staff, the response was "Oh yes, several people have told us that about the rooms in the back. Next time make a fuss when you check in and you'll probably get one with better reception." If/when they fix/upgrade the wifi connections, this would be a great value for road warriors. Meanwhile, ask for a room as close to the hotel desk as possible.

Convenient location to airport; no complaintsPosted Jan 5, 2014
Pros: Convenient location; friendly staff; continental breakfast (included in room rate) better than average and served from 0500 hrs on.
Cons: The complimentary shuttle between the hotel and the airport does not operate after 2300 hr, even though some flights arrive after this hour.
If taking a taxi from the airport to the hotel (see below), make sure the driver takes the shortest route. It can save you a few dollars.

Good Value Except the BreakfastPosted Jan 3, 2014
Pros: The staff, beds, decent wifi.
Cons: The breakfast, either offer something decent and keep it maintained, or just eliminate it.
Quick check-in, fabulous front desk staff, knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. Room was a good size (2Q), asked for a quiet room but was put on the highway side of the building, fairly noisy with traffic and departing planes from the nearby airport. Beds were excellent, carpet didn't appear to have been vacuumed recently, found lots of small rocks and sand as I walked around the room. As previous reviews have stated, the breakfast is terrible. Two waffle irons running, no batter, staff went through the breakfast nook twice and didn't bother filling it. Muffins were very stale and hard. Decent Hotel overall, would stay here again for the price.

On checking in I asked to make sure I was in a pet free room and was told that if I wanted a pet free room I would have to pay extra. Considering I had already paid over a $100 for a room, I thought that was very unfair. So checking in was time consuming and irksome. Breakfast was budget style .... minimum choice and plastic utensils and paper plates. Room was quiet and fine.
