Nice well located hotel

Posted Apr 15, 2015
Cons: Maintain the small things
Great place some maintenance to small things like weather stripping and replace windows that are leaking would be good. we could hear people on the street talking, not yelling just talking

Excellent option to visit Victoria

Posted Apr 9, 2015
Pros: The location of the hotel is just perfect and the friendliness of the staff is remarkable.
Cons: The decoration of the rooms looks a bit old. I think the carpet and walls are to blame for this.
Staying in this hotel simplifies any visit to Victoria, since it is really well located, walking distance to many attractive places, and with a convenient parking in case you want to go further. We had 2 rooms, one with ocean view and one with city view. The one with ocean view is just fantastic and unbeatable!

Morning staff

Posted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: Good room and location
Cons: Per above
Location: Good location for restaurants, the waterfront, shopping, etc.
I found the morning check out staff quite unfriendly. Not particularly helpful when I wanted to get my valeted car and no "thank you" and "we look forward to seeing you again." Not impressed.

Well appointed hotel and suites on the harbour

Posted Mar 14, 2015
Pros: Location, comfortable bed
Location: Walking along the waterfront to Fisherman's Wharf, Information Centre and taking the harbour cruise or water taxi ride were great.
This hotel was very well situated on the harbour with great views (if you had a harbour facing room). The room was clean, had adequate space and a very comfortable bed. It was within easy walking distances to shops and tourist attractions.

Downtown Victoria

Posted Mar 10, 2015
This hotel is not really a hotel but rather a condo/apartment complex with a few units or floor(s) converted into “hotel” rooms. With that being said, you do get the added convenience of all the space of an apartment, i.e., Living Room; Dining Room; Full Kitchen; lot of closet space, etc. But of course you lose on all the other things you want from a hotel, i.e., AIR CONDITIONING!!!! So, if you are planning to visit this “hotel” during the summer months, make sure you pack your fan with you! Hahaha… but, seriously, since there is no central air, you have to open all the windows, which means, if you have ever been to downtown Victoria, you get all the noise of the bars, restaurants, and the homeless people that seem to camp right under the hotel. We had a great view of the homeless people having a great time at 2:00 in the morning. BTW… the homeless shelter is on the other side of the blue bridge; about 2 min walk from the hotel… you don’t see that on the pictures! Don’t get me wrong, this “hotel” is in a great location, just a block from Government Street, lots of bars, restaurants, etc… if you are there to party, great hotel! If not, not so much. Looks like they are in the process of updating their apartments with new furniture, unfortunately, they have chosen wrong… the couch and love seat in the living room feels more like patio furniture… we had to put down towels/blanket on the couch… not comfortable at all.
