Reasonable, averagePosted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: Nice bed, & reasonable cost, is walkable from the ferry. Good free breakfast with nice view. Comfy robes!
Cons: Hallways smelled like aircraft fuel from nearby seaplanes, no view on the "non-suite" side.
Location: nice in the mornings, evenings are noisy.
Not a "luxury" hotel. If you want a view & less street noise, book a suite!

Spacious room. Close to downtown.Posted Jun 30, 2015
Very large suite. Shower has excellent pressure. Free bottled water was a nice touch. Close to downtown. No A/C was the only downside. Windows block out noise but we needed to open them to cool the room.

Great location and viewsPosted Jun 15, 2015
Cons: The hotel could use a little bit of renovation to deal with some wear and tear issues.
Comfortable hotel, great location with a fabulous view of the inner harbour and perfect for exploring Victoria. Good continental breakfast and very helpful staff. The two bedroom suites are very good for couples travelling together as the bedrooms and large bathrooms are separated by the living area. Well-equipped kitchen. Would recommend it.

Rooms were very spacious and clean. We were pleasantly surprised by the generous size of our two bedroom suite. The included continental breakfast was great with healthy choices such as a multigrain hot cereal (flax, oatmeal and other grains).

Location, view and free parking!Posted Jun 10, 2015
We loved the view and the full sized kitchen, diningroom and livingroom. Unfortunately, the smell from the fuel of the float planes wafted right into our room from the open sliding doors of our balcony. As there is no air conditioning, on a hot summer day this is a problem. The floor fans provided in our room helped to push the fumes back outside. Also, I was surprised the hotel allows smoking on the balconies, which, of course also wafted up and into our room. The location is absolutely the best- downtown Victoria in the harbor area on Wharf Street. Close to all the tourists attractions. Free Continental breakfast was decent- usual cold cereals, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, yoghurt, bananas, muffins, and an assortment of breads. Coffee, tea, and juices. I'm not sure I would stay here again because of the smoking allowed and fuel smells from the harbor. The staff were helpful, courteous, and professional.
