Wonderful experience. Staff treated us like family, and the facilities were spotless. We were treated to a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner upon arrival, then a delicious hot breakfast the next morning. Thanks Hampton Inn of Barstow!

“Just The Ticket”

Barstow is on the way to elsewhere: Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Sedona, any number of places. Itʻs not a destination. We left the Bay Area headed for the Grand Canyon and couldnʻt drive any further the first day. We didnʻt expect much, but this hotel was great. Extremely nice people and quiet. It is set back from the highway and separate enough from the other businesses to be an island of quiet, especially on the non-highway side. It is adjacent to an outlet store mall (which could be a plus) which shuts down before evening so it is very quiet. We planned on shopping but ran out of time. Not much of a view, but very pleasant, large rooms, well-furnished, clean, up-to-date styling. The free breakfast was really nice (especially the excellent fresh fruit). Nice laundry room. They convey a concern for the environment which I appreciated. We liked it so much we stopped again on our way back! Loved it. Go to Chipotle nearby for dinner (or lunch?), surprisingly great.

“Another Great Hampton Stay!!”

We always like to stay at a Hampton Inn when we travel because we know what to expect and are never dissatisfied. The Hampton in Barstow exceeded our expectations -- it was super clean, quiet and nicely decorated. The breakfast area had plenty of room, comfortable chairs, and a wide variety of items to choose from. Everyone working there went out of their way to answer our questions or offer assistance in a pleasant, courteous fashion. Highy recommend...

The room decor was lovely; bed very comfortable; if you need to stay overnight in Barstow this is an excellent choice.

“If you must stay in Barstow, this hotel is the place to stay”

The hotel is very clean, quiet, modern and very well-maintained. Front desk staff, housekeeping and breakfast staff were all friendly and helpful during our three day stay. Beds are especially comfortable, and the included buffet breakfast offers a reasonable variety of healthy foods. Free cookies, tea & coffee are available at all times. The hotel is located right next to the Tanger outlet mall, which has some good shops, and is a very short drive from a variety of chain restaurants and cafes, including Starbucks and Chipotle Grill. It is about 5 miles from downtown Barstow. Unless you need to be right in town, I'd highly recommend staying in this area.

“Nice Place”

My wife and I had a very pleasant experience at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Barstow. We actually stayed there on the way to the Grand Canyon and then again on the way back. The complimentary breakfast was very convenient and way above average. Complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available 24 hrs. per day. Not much going on in Barstow but this hotel is very close to a nice outlet mall. We would not hesitate to stay there again if the need arises.

“Will definitely return”

Our stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites at Barstow was just an overnight stop on the way to a seminar. The service was excellent and all staff members were helpful and courteous. We arrived late and were glad of the complimentary beverages and snacks available, plus the coffee maker in the room was a plus. The beds were comfortable and the television offered more than the "few" channels available at other hotels. The free breakfast in the morning was small, but adequate to start our morning drive and continue on to the convention.

“Great place to stay!”

This was the second time we stayed at the Hampton Inn Suites. We like everything about it - the location, friendly staff, nice comfortable room, and the great hot breakfast offering. It's right next to the outlet mall, and there are some good places to eat (Chili's, Chipotle) right nearby. A great place to stay!

“Location of Barstow Hampton Inn”

Best part of location is next to Tanger shopping outlet which were as good, or better, than the outlet shopping in Vegas. Otherwise the location itself is outside of the main Barstow area but nevertheless there are a couple restaurant options nearby.
