"Central to the main attractions and tube/tram stop"
Lovely room with welcome chocolates and water. Hot power shower every night. Slightly unnerving translucent bathroom door so could see where my partner was in there! Super comfy bed. View onto street but not a problem. Breakfast was varied and had a lot of choices. No restaurant for evening meals though. Staff very helpful.

Really lovely hotel, nice staff, comfortable rooms. We didn't eat in the hotel because there were so many fantastic places nearby but I think we would have had breakfast if they were charging a bit less than 32 Euros per head - a lot for a bread roll and coffee.

We had only one night in Vienna during an 18 hour layover. Your hotel was perfectly located in the old part of town. With but a few hours we were guided well on how to see as much as possible in that amount of time. Was suggested we go to Umar for fish and it was extraordinary.

We were welcomed immediately, provided easy check in, maps, keys. To our surprise and joy, we found a bouquet of fresh roses and a bowl of fresh fruit in each of our two reserved rooms. The rooms are small, but quiet and comfortable. Check out was easy with great assistance getting a taxi. Breakfast was also good, varied, fresh and convenient. I would return to this hotel and would recommend it to friends. Location cannot be beat.

We stayed at this hotel many years ago and loved it. So decided to return. The hotel is modern and very clean. The room is quite spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The location is excellent - right in the heart of the city, yet on a quiet street. All in all, great hotel. There are a couple of minor issues. The first for me was the quality of WiFi. It was very unstable. The signal was usually weak and connection was often lost, especially in the evening where the other guests likely connected. The second was the restroom - the door did not have a lock, and it's a sliding door which was a bit crooked so it was a bit hard to open and close sometimes. The last minor annoyance is the breakfast service. The breakfast itself (buffet style) was very good with a lot of tasty and fresh choices, although somewhat expensive (17 Euro per person). But somehow they almost never had any spoons for cereal or tea spoons for coffee. Every morning I had to go and ask for these and they would go to the kitchen and bring me the spoons. Very minor thing, of course, but it seems that the level of service that impressed us the last time has gone down a bit. But the poor WiFi was the main problem for us, especially since the TV had about 50 channels but ALL of them were in German.

Most travellers to Vienna will spend the majority of their time exploring the Innenstadt (centre). Neatly circumscribed by the Ringstrasse, this area is largely pedestrianised, with quaint cobbled streets and medieval squares. The city's focal point is the Gothic spire of the Stephansdom and key attractions include the huge Hofburg palace and the Spanish Riding School.
