Hotel with pull-up bed

Posted Aug 9, 2014
We booked two rooms. One for ourselves and one for our children. Our room had proper bed which was fine. However, the children room had pull-up bed. The air conditioning in the children's room wasn't working and the room was close to the main road. Quite noisy with cars and trams passed by.

Would stay here next time in vienna

Posted Jul 25, 2014
Excellent location, 5-10minute walk from the train station where the high speed train from the airport (CAT) gets in. This takes 16 minutes only and costs €12 each way, or cheaper if you buy a return. From this station you can also catch the u-bahn to see the sights in the city and to get to schonbrunn palace. Vienna is a lovely compact city so all major attractions are a 20-30 minute walk from the hotel. Which in a city as beautiful as vienna is a pleasure. Surrounding the hotel there are numerous restaurants, a pharmacy, park and a supermarket. Handily as the apartments come with self catering facilities. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. Free wifi and some English news channels on the TV. Although I didn't use it, the hotel staff told me there was an on site gym which guests had access to.

Average facilities but well situated for centre

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: Locality
Cons: Air conditioning setting which was very poor and the unit badly located away from the sleeping area. The view of a brick wall!
Location: Close to the underground and well serviced generally.
Had a lovely view of a wall. I asked for a view of the river on arrival but was told it was not possible as fully booked. When the reception manager first checked our booking and said, oh you have booked through expedia his tone changed. From then on I felt we were being offered a second class service!

Great Hotel

Posted May 26, 2014
Pros: Everything - location, clean, internet/wifi, kitchen, no cleaning, quiet
Location: Walkable to centre but close to Arts museum, Billa supermarket, chemist & restaurants, great location & near to all transport links
Location great - 30 steps to the tram, 200 yards to U or bus ! Helpful staff. Modern clean apartment with all mod cons. Kitchenette great for that vital cup of tea & full size fridge. Liked the twin beds & twin duvets as was very warm when we were there so good to have your own space. Excellent a/c. Very quiet (had inside room). Recommended.

Great location, 10 minute walk to historic center

Posted May 20, 2014
Pros: Location and efficiency kitchen
Arrived from the U.S. at 9am and were provided a room even though check-in isn't until 3pm. Pleasant and helpful employees. Ten minute walk to the CAT (City Airport Train) and an easy walk to historic sites and parks. Close to many grocery markets and stores (rooms have efficiency kitchens).

Do not stay there!

Posted May 18, 2014
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Ventilation and airconditioning.
Location: Close to hop on, hop off bus stop.
There were no opening windows. The reason given for this was for backdraft in case of a fire. There are few fires in hotels! This coupled with a weak air conditioning system made the room uncomfortable. There was little ventilation. We stayed at another Adagio a few weeks ago - no problem with windows and fires at that hotel! I. suspect that there is another reason for the sealed windows. They were able to be opened in the past!

Great hotel that is close to city centre.

Posted May 15, 2014
Hotel was great for the price. Close to the city centre and walking distance to main attractions, shops and restaurants. Only a few little things was the water in the shower turned really hot instantly and bed and pillows were a little uncomfortable but only minor stuff! Loved the sound proofing which made the room extremely quiet. Would certainly stay again!
