Nice apartment very close to city centerPosted Dec 2, 2013
Cons: No washer and dryer. We could not turn on the TV
Location: Location was the most important for us and the apartment was centrally located.
We arrive late, the keys were in a lock box, excellent instructions. Near city center.

Thin walls and not reception areaPosted Oct 11, 2013
Overall it was OK. Unfortunately we could hear CLEARLY the night activities which were taking place in the room above us... a bit too clearly and didn't really need to hear All that was going on. There is no reception area and even though we asked for a non smoking room, our room smelled of smoke. I guess you get for what you pay for.

Check room firstPosted Jul 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had a booking for 3 people yet when we arrived, only one bed was made. We were given two other room choices and the 3rd choice worked better for us. However the room was not as nice as the first room, though larger. We had to ask for burnt out ceiling light bulbs to be replaced and for toilet paper. The bathroom fan was broken and taken out and placed on the floor and not fixed for the week we were there. Overall the place works but it is basic. Good location, esp if you have a Vienna card. Use of clothes washer cost 5 euros/load however the dryer is free.

PracticalPosted Jul 17, 2013
Pros: Supermarket literally at our door step.
Cons: Poor quality beds.
Location: The location is pretty average.
Apart from the awful bed which almost killed my back, everything seemed functional. Also, having a supermarket right next door plus a basic kitchenette in our apartment really is very convenient, essential and economical especially when we were traveling with kids. I was rather disappointed that our apartment was not furnished with a washer like it was mentioned at the time of booking as we had quite a lot of clothes to wash after several days of traveling. Overall, I would still recommend this place to families and the budget conscious travelers. Best wishes, Family of 5

Needs some polishPosted Jul 9, 2013
Definitely not as nice as ratings suggested Pro: Next to tram stop, quick access to U-bahn Cons: Needs paint & maintenance, shower door broken, dishwasher broken Rooms on Alser Strasse side sit over a bar that has late night revelry and the street has a lot of early morning traffic. Eating area cramped. 1 drinking glass so kids used coffee cups

Highly recommendPosted Jun 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
Can't complain about anything with these apartments. Having our own kitchen was a bonus as was the free wifi in the room. Would highly recommend and would defiantly stay here again. Very friendly, helpful staff as well

Spacious rooms...............Posted May 27, 2013
Cons: Front desk limited availablity
Location: It cannot be beat for the price
From a location standpoint as it relates to price you cannot go wrong. You CAN walk to most of the things Downtown that you'd want to, as it's about a 20 minute hike. There is a cab stand literally 20' from the front door, or the train about 50' from the front door. You do not need a car to navigate Vienna, and in fact it's more of a detriment, as we did need one to leave Vienna for a couple of days. The front desk is only available til about noon, and although the good Dr. and Melanie are VERY helpful, there were times I wished they'd been there longer. Tons of great pastry shops, restaurants, and a grocery store with 100 yards, so very little need for much at all. If you want to live like people in Vienna live, this is the place for you. If you want the luxuries of a five star hotel, is it not. Overall, great value and completely as advertised, which is all one can ask for.

DissappointedPosted May 15, 2013
Pros: Having separate rooms as we were traveling with our baby.
Cons: Many finishings were sub-par (ex. the bathroom door could only open half was and would get stuck on the floor).
Overall we were pretty happy with this place and only required it for a single night. The main staff person was very helpful but when she offered to book a car service to the airport we were very clear that we need a baby/car seat for our child. I called her a second time to confirm this requirement. When we checked out the car service (a taxi) was there but had no car seat. I was not able to reach the apartment contact and we didn't have time to make alternate arrangements so we were stuck using the cab. This caused a great deal of unnecessary stress and a significant safety risk to our child. This oversight is enough for us not to recommend this establishment to others.

Overall quite satisfiedPosted May 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the closest subway (Rathaus). The room was very comfy although I had a single bed. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful. My flight was early morning and I had no way of getting there without spending 35 euros. The staff called around to another group of guests heading to the airport at the same time and arranged for me to travel with them. The hotel is a 20-25 minute walk to the city center but that's not too bad. Overall, it was a good stay.
