“a bit more like a motel than a hotel”
the owner doesn't seem to have invested too much in this hotel. Rooms smell like smoke. Feels like it may get shut down sometime soon. Just very tired building.
“Nothing special but satisfactory.”
I stayed for 2 nights, in ton for business, staff was friendly, rooms clean breakfast satisfactory. Location is not the best if you are a leisure traveler, but they do have a garage if you are traveling by car. Close to railway and tram station, but you can do better in Vienna.
“very good option-best location”
i recomment this hotel!t is clean, two minutes from metro station, central roads and tram!!!!
“Great hotel”
I was very satisfied with the hotel and the location. Very nice service at the reception. Clean room. Wifi included. Definetely can be recommended
“Overall good hotel with some issues”
We stayed here for 5 nights based on good reviews and getting a good rate. The room was very clean and we had a "city street" view overlooking Urban Loritz Platz. Some may not like the street noise, but we loved the view overlooking the activity of the frequent trams. The hotel was very comfortable overall. We booked the Executive room which was located on the 6th floor. (According to the hotel's website rooms on the 6th and 7th floor are Executive rooms.) Internet wi-fi access is free if you stay in an Executive room, but not in a standard room. We enjoyed our stay but we did have a few problems though. We looked forward to using the hot tub after walking around Vienna but the hot tub was broken our entire stay. The first time we tried to use the hot tub was our second day around 4:30 pm. It was cold. We called the front desk and were told it was turned on at 4:00 pm and it needed time to heat up. We returned after dinner at about 7:30 pm and it was still cold. We called the front desk again and the next day it was drained with an out of service sign. It remained broked for our entire stay. Another issue we had was that we didn't get our wake up call our 3rd night. We realized that the phone had stopped working, but that doesn't explain why someone wasn't sent to ensure we were up. When we reported the phone problem the next morning, we left to explore the city expecting it would be fixed when we got back. It wasn't, and we were given an excuse that engineering was off.
“A really good 4* hotel - we recommend it to our friends”
Everything was comfortable in this hotel. We’ve found it very easily after arrival to the western railway station. Though we arrived before check-in time, we were immediately given a room. The room was rather large, with AC, clean, TV had a Russian channel. We didn’t book breakfast, so no comments on it.
“Not Impressed”
The hotel is close to a metro station. The complementary wireless internet is very slow and one needs to ask for a password every day. Password expires every 24h. The airconditioning doesn't work very well, make sure you don't book this hotel in the middle of the summer. This hotel is a 3 star hotel, don't expect more, but so is the price. A better hotel costs more. The breakfast buffet costs 15 Euro. If you want to save this money, there are a few places around where one can eat breakfast. There is a grocery store less than 25 meters from the hotel.
“Nice hotel for the price”
although nice but pricely breakfasts! I tought that the breakfast was included though it was not and no body told me anything till the time of check out when i saw the bill and i was surprised with the price!
“Nice place”
This place was nice, within walking distance from Westbanhof, from where you can take trains to all of Europe. The metro station is a couple of blocks away. If the weather is nice, you can walk all the way to the Hofburg through Mariahilfestrasse. The only downside of this hotel is the ridiculously expensive breakfast, which we did not get even near to.
“old hotel”
At the begining they told us that breakfast is included to the room price but when leaving it is not.
