Fine HotelPosted Oct 13, 2009 on Hotels.com
This was our first hotel in Europe (without any experience outside of the US). It was a very nice hotel, clean and comfortable which is all we were looking for. Our only issue was that the beds are very low to the ground (something we've discovered must be a European thing because all of our subsequent hotels had the same thing) and my husband is disabled so it was a little harder for him to get up and get ready in the morning. The hotel wasn't very close to the city center, but its a very short walk to the underground with is very clean and easy to use (especially since we don't speak or read German). Overall we had a very nice stay and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very small room and tiny bathroom. Nice folks in the front lobby.

Nice HotelPosted Jun 13, 2009
We spent time at the Artis Hotel in Vienna in March 2009. The room/bathroom was a bit compact but was adequate for the week we spent there. The hotel is very close to Belvedere Palace and transportation into the city center. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the front desk people where very nice and helpful!

Great hotel, nice staffPosted Apr 24, 2009 on Hotels.com
The only down side is internet only in the lobby and it's slower than if you were drawing the webpages by hand. So don't use their internet, other than that, great hotel. Very close to the S-Bahn and street cars. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Very friendly staffPosted Jan 7, 2009
The room was small but adequate. The location of the hotel was very good. Although not in the city centre, it was very close to a tram stop that placed you in the city centre near the Opera House in 7-8 minutes. The best thing to recommend this hotel was the friendly and helpful nature of the staff to the tourist travelor.

Easy to/from airportPosted Dec 2, 2008
The hotel's close to the Belvedere and the Rennweg S-Bahn station, and there's a nearby tram to take you into the city center, though its a walkable distance as well. There were multiple tour groups coming in and out; the hotel's not fancy, the breakfast was satisfactory but you'll have to sample real Viennese coffee elsewhere. It was a good value and a satisfactory experience.

Short stop for conferencePosted Nov 23, 2008
Good quality hotel for the price, excellent continental breakfast! Stayed here for a scientific conference in the city, was only a couple of minutes walk from Renweg station which gets you into city centre on the s-bahn and u-bahn.

Not impressedPosted Jul 16, 2008
I'm not impressed by this hotel, but for short stay it's ok. Pretty clean, but some equipment in bathroom was broken. TV didn't work at evening, I think because of rain. Breakfast was ok.
