Luxury at a bargain pricePosted Jul 9, 2012 on Hotels.com
We booked the apartment based on the fact it was much cheaper than hotels in Vienna. Organising room key pick up was fairly easy, although I did keep recieving automated emails right up until our stay telling me to arrange a time to pick up our keys even though I had. We were slightly stunned when we found out we had to pay on arrival, we assumed we would pay when we left, and this wasn't made perfectly clear, so make sure you have enough money on you to pay on arrival! The apartment was faultless; everything was extremely clean and there was enough facilities for us (there was even free bath products!) This apartment is self-catering, but don't bring any utensils or plates with you as everything is provided. The sofa bed was extremely confortable and large, not like most. The only problem would be the internet service was erratic, but this was a minor glitch. The apartment is located within walking distance of U/S-bahns and also shops and restaurants, but it is difficult to find your way around initially so make sure you have a map! Something that we were not aware of is that shops in Vienna close very early (it varies between 6 and 8). This is true for all shops! You will not find a shop close by that is open past this hour, so if arriving late make sure you have everything with you already. Overall I would definitely reccomend this apartment, and I would definitely go again!

Nicer than than the pictures!Posted Apr 16, 2012 on Hotels.com
We stayed in the top 707 apartment. It had plenty of room & was spotless. We were travelleing with our children (8 & 11)who just managed to fit on the sofa bed. It would be fine for 1 extra Extra adult but very cosy for 2. There was plenty of room for an air bed though. Great location.

Great apartment in excellent locationPosted Jan 4, 2012
Pros: Location, size of apartment, kitchen, value for money
Cons: Some confusion over collecting the key
Location: In the first district of Vienna, well within the reach of all major sights, just a few minutes walk away from an underground station. Area felt safe.
Stayed in Apartment 707 with three friends. Excellent location just a couple of minutes walk from an underground station and at the edge of the ring, so very convenient for all the main sights. Apartment was very spacious- definitely big enough for four people- with a large living area, fully equipped kitchen, separate good-sized bedroom and bathroom with bath and shower. Apartment was nicely decorated with modern fitments and prepared nicely for our arrival. Only negative was in collecting the key when we arrived- no one was there to meet us as arranged by email, though it was easy to contact the owner who then sent someone immediately, though we did then have half an hour wait. Problem probably could have been avoided if we had phoned on the day when we arrived in Vienna to confirm the time. Overall would reccomend and stay there again- really excellent value for money in central Vienna.
