Cordial Theaterhotel Wien

An older hotel a bit of a distance from the underground, but quiet and right on a tram line, so it is easy to get around. Since Vienna is spread out, you will have to figure out public transportation anyway and it is cheap and easy. The breakfast (not included) is expensive by European standards, but so is all the food in Vienna, so we ate breakfast at the hotel. Clean, comfortable, quiet. The superior room was actually a suite with a kitchenette. This means a hot plate, a kitchen sink, but no pots or pans,utensils, cutlery, or even a kettle.

5 minutes' walk from Rathaus U Bahn station, good access to historical city center, as well as many contemporary shops around the hotel.

Clean, comfortable, excellent breakfast (although at 18 euros, a bit pricey), well located near Rathaus and museum quarter. Walkable to Graben/downtown, although a bit of ahike. Staff uniformly excellent and attentive.

We had a great time in Vienna. The hotel is in a very convenient location. Near Holfberg, near Museum Quarter, and near public transportation. Hotel staff was very helpful with directions and dinner reservations. The rooms were a nice size and very comfortable. Very clean. Nice breakfast. This is a great hotel for guests who plan to tour Vienna by foot or by using public transportation. Vienna is a great city to view on foot or on bike. Wonderful city to just stroll the streets and admire the architecture. Great museums, beautiful palaces, wonder art. Also great public transportation.

In the suite you can not acommodate 4 persons because of the furniture, olde and broke

Me and my family had a really comfortable stay, the hotel is 10 min walk from Vienna city center, in a really nice street with all facilities, markets and restaurants. We also received a great service and found a spacious and clean and comfortable room for a considerably budget price. I deffinetly recommend it!

This hotel is a well-kept old hotel. It is clean, quiet, and quiet lovely even though the bed is a uncomfortable and the hair dryer works poorly. The staff didn't seem really professional to me, but this hotel is definitely worth of value.

We really enjoyed our trip to Vienna and were very happy to discover that this hotel is in a perfect location. Easy walking to all of the major sites we wanted to visit yet not in the "tourist" district. The staff was very helpful considering we needed a lot of help with detailed directions and instruction as to how to use the public transportation system. The only challenge was that this is an old hotel of the type that requires a room key to turn on the power. If you are traveling with a lot of devices that need to be charged then I would recommend you bring extra converters so that you can use multiple outlets.

excellent hotel - stayed 5 nights in November - easy walking distance from Ringstrasse, U Bahn and all major sites. Street pleasantly busy with plenty of choice of restaurants and shops. Would stay here again.
