We were lucky...Posted Aug 27, 2014
Cons: Make sure the construction activity is complete
There is major construction project taking place on the street that this hotel is on. When we arrived the noise looked like it would be a major concern. Luckily for us the following day was a national holiday, and then it was Saturday. So no more construction activity during our stay. The hotel had a family atmosphere to it, and we felt very welcome. Location was convenient, but was outside of central 'ring' of Vienna. no problem if you get the metro pass (the metro is 2 mins. from the hotel). I would encourage anyway seeing Vienna to take advantage of the Vienna City Bikes program. A great deal.

Eccentric, interesting, small hotel.Posted Aug 31, 2013
Pros: This was not a corporate hotel and we are not corporate people.
Cons: There are no numbers on the rooms and a lot of steps involved. This is NOT handicapped accessible.
Location: The hotel is just outside Vienna's inner ring so it is a good location for visiting the main sites.
Located on the main shopping street, this quiet hotel served our needs well. Breakfast was limited but tasty. Services were adequate to our needs.

Great hotel on one of the major shopping streetsPosted Dec 1, 2012
Pros: The staff
Cons: small toilet/shower
Location: Great location on a major shopping street, close to the subway.
The best thing about the hotel was its extremely friendly and pleasant front desk staff. The room was clean but rather small. The hotel was right on the main shopping street, steps away from a subway station, making the commute to and from the airport extremely easy. I would definitely return.
Good value and comfortable, despite constructionPosted Aug 16, 2012 on Hotels.com
Some maintainance problems - sink sensor went bad, etc. so problems getting water, etc. Get a courtyard room - nice and quiet. Friendly place, and not a bad breakfast. Building was under construction - which was a bit of a hassle, but not too big a problem. Very convenient location. Would definitely recommend as a very good value.

No frills excellent hotel in great location!Posted Jul 25, 2012
Pros: Staff is very helpful
Cons: Small rooms
Location: Fantastic location for shopping, cultural activities and events and gastronomy
Current renovations on the shops made entry to the hotel quite bothersome (noise, dust), but these should be complete soon enough. The owner is present always and the staff is largely family and very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is located on a bustling street full of shops, restaurants, cafes and is close to museums. The rooms are small, but more than sufficient for those who plan to spend most time away from the hotel.

Corvinus ComfortPosted Mar 19, 2012
Pros: The location and front desk manager, Miklaus.
Cons: People partying on street in front of hotel into wee hours of the am.
Miklaus was extremely friendly and hospitable. The location was awesome and right next to a cinema with movies in English. It's a noisy if you room is on the street ( with the windows open) but that's to be expected if you want excellent location. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was very new and the breakfast was just right. Great experience...Not overwhelmingly fancy rooms, but clean and comfortable.

Great value for moneyPosted Dec 1, 2011
Very welcoming hotel, clean good sized rooms, run by a lovely family. It's in a good location just above the museum quarter which was very convenient. Also great to have a place to stay with breakfast and wi fi included in the price, would for sure stay there again ifmgoing back to Vienna.
