“Comfortable and convenient”

Located within a 10min walk from Suedbahnhof and 5 min from the U1 Station Suedtirolerplatz this hotel is excellent for exploring the city if you do not have a lot of time in Vienna and, like us, need to take early trains or an early airport bus. It is also located next to a big shopping street. The first room we got smelled like smoke and the heater didn't work. However, the staff quickly provided a different room. The Expedia rate does not include breakfast. The hotel is new and the rooms look nice. The showerhead was broken but that was such a minor inconvenience that we didn't even report it. Check in was fast and the staff was very friendly. Overall this was an excellent value.

“Fulfilled all expectations and more!”

Stayed here for 4 nights over what would have been the August Bank Holiday weekend back home in England. What a treat!Friendly staff, beautifully clean hotel,fresh towels each day, fantastic shower. An absolute bargain at the price we paid for it. It's about 10 minutes walk from the Südbahnhof but plenty of taxis there even late at night if you don't fancy the walk. You could also pick up a tram from there to the Südtirolerplatz - they run every 10 minutes. Buses leave for the Südbahnhof every half hour up til 23.30 from immediately outside the airport at a cost of 6/7 Euros - very easy. Pedestrian precinct immediately on your doorstep which has very much a local "feel". Lovely little cafe overlooking fountain just 2 minutes from hotel(Turn right out of hotel, then left on to Favoritenstrasse - can't miss it!). Breakfast for 3.90 Euros!!Nice little local market a bit further up the Favoritenstrasse - worth a visit for the atmosphere.

“I'm So Glad I Stayed at Hotel Delta Vienna”

I liked Delta Hotel Vienna from the first moments I checked in around 9:30 on a Monday night. This hotel is reasonably priced, but offers amenities of a more expensive hotel. Everyone at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful, and although I speak a little bit of German, when they saw that I prefered to speak English they gladly spoke to me in fluent English. When I asked for information about concerts and locations, they were very helpful and even took phone messages and mail for me. The lobby is modern and comfortably furnished, with a bar where you can get cocktails, beer or even tea. My room was very clean, a good size, bright, and had a TV, phone and two single beds, even though I only needed one . The bathroom was very clean and modern (with hair dryer). I felt very comfortable and safe there, and slept well each night. The hotel offered a breakfast buffet for an additional charge, but I preferred to explore the neighborhood each morning and found ample places to have a good and reasonably priced breakfast on the Favoritenstrasse, a large pedestrian street with numerous stores and restaurants. There is also internet access in the hotel lobby for a minimal charge, although the second time I used the computer, it froze up on me. The hotel is near the Keplerplatz subway station, and it took less than fifteen minutes to get the the City Centre. As a woman travelling alone, I always felt safe walking to and from the hotel at all times of the day and night. I

“First choice for Vienna”

The hotel is new, and it is about 20 minutes by foot to the old city, 2 minutes to the underground. Desk personnel were very helpful and informed--English was just fine. Room was clean and comfortable. Price was unbeatable and I would stay here again.

“Modern hotel with good amendities”

I would recommend this hotel for its convenient location to the u-bahn train station, modern amendities, air conditioning, comfort, and price. Only 2 train stops from the Stratosdome, Heldenplatz, and other great attractions. This is where I would stay the next time I am in Vienna.

The only reason I wouldn't give a 5 for comfort was that the air conditioning worked but never got to the level that I would have expected. Perhaps it's just what i'm used to, I don't know.
