Klassiek genieten in rijk Wenen...Posted Mar 27, 2015
Klassiek hotel, alles goed verzorgd, bijvoorbeeld prachtige verse bloemen overal, fantastisch ontbijtbuffet.

Excellent and conveniently placed hotel.Posted Mar 23, 2015
Location: A number of good standard restaurents nearby. Trams running past the hotel made it easy to reach all the main sites of interest
A welcoming hotel, well placed for the U-Bahn and trams near University. Comfortable room. Helpful and cheerful staff. Good buffet breakfast.

Hotel was very nice and in a nice location. The hotel staff was very nice, with the exception of one woman who worked the front desk. She was very snotty. The only thing that I disliked was that we were on the 6th floor and the internet didn't work there. I'd have to go to the lobby, which was a pain.

Convenient locationPosted Mar 10, 2015
Pros: The accommodation charges were very reasonable.
Cons: We didn't have breakfast there as it was very expensive in relation to the accommodation charges.
Location: The heart of this beautiful city is just a 15 minute walk away once you get yourself orientated.
We found this hotel great value. We walked to al of the sites we visited and were surprised just how easy it was.

A very special stayPosted Mar 7, 2015
Pros: The suites, huge rooms
Cons: The only thing I could criticize is that the rooms get very warm, need more air conditioning, but that's really nitpicking.
Location: Walk to the top of St Stephen's Cathedral, museum quarter, and restaurants
Came here for my boyfriend's birthday. I pre-ordered flowers and champagne to arrive at the room before arrival which were there and were beautiful. The hotel upgraded us to a suite, which was a split level, had 2 bathrooms, stairs up to the bedroom and a large living space. A balcony looked over the beautiful city. It's a great location, just a short walk to the town hall and St Stephen's Cathedral and shops. All the staff were really friendly and we enjoyed the bar most evenings. It's a very elegant classic hotel but with modern features. When checking out, we asked for a taxi; the hotel run a limousine service to the airport for 39 euros... bargain and made the end of our stay special, despite us having to go home. Thank you Hotel De France for this wonderful stay.

Great base for a Vienna week end.Posted Mar 4, 2015
Pros: Breakfast was included and catered for a wide selection of tastes.
Cons: Room was a little tired but still good value.
Location: Excellent location on the ringstrasse by a transport hub. All big sites just a short tram hop away.
Ideal hotel for a mature couple. Looking for a value for money package this hotel may have be not be 5* in all aspects but for what we paid it ticked all the boxes.

Good hotel, Great food!Posted Mar 3, 2015
The hotel, staff and food are wonderful but the room was smaller than shown in pictures. It was comfortable just not a spacious as I thought it was going to be. It is convenient to transportation but it still within walking distance of most places you would want to go to. We chose to walk off all the great food we ate and walked to all the sites in old town. The food in the restaurant No. 3 was Outstanding and the buffet breakfast was better than most.

Good hotel close to the centre of Vienna.Posted Feb 24, 2015
Good food, clean and welcoming. Bedrooms are a bit tired and mattresses too soft. Otherwise I would book in again.
