very nice hotelPosted Feb 14, 2014
Pros: very close to the train (five minute walk) and three or four stops to the center of the city.
Cons: everything about the hotel was very nice. If you need to buy water, snacks etc. there is a market in the train station
Location: go to the center of the town. Visit Schonbrunn Palace, Belvedere and Albertina
had a very nice experience at Vienna. The hotel was very nice and in a good location

Clean, cozy hotelPosted Dec 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff was very helpful and the hotel was cute and clean. However, the room was a little tiny for my husband and I (he's 6'7" and the ceiling was quite sloped; also there was a lamp hanging low over the bed that we could have easily knocked our heads on--luckily we didn't). There is not much in the way of restaurants or things to see in the neighborhood, though it's close to the Prater metro stop so it's quite easy to get to other places in Vienna.

Excellent value for money! Would stay here again.Posted Nov 17, 2013
The hotel is located well to local attractions and easy to get to from the airport. (To each the hotel from the airport catch the S7 train). The hotel is located a 5 min walk from the tube station and the No. 5 tram is at the end of the road (2 min walk). We booked the hotel without breakfast, which was a mistake and in hindsight we would include this if/when we come back. Breafast was €9.90 each. We found that tea/coffee alone at cafe's was €4+, so it was well worth the breakfast cost at the hotel as coffee/tea were unlimited. Its a continental breakfast. The staff are wonderful, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. My partner left his jacket when we left to go home. We contacted the hotel from the airport and they're posting it back to the u.k for us. Customer care above and beyond. The room was small, however we booked the small double to save money to do the touristy things. The room was clean, quiet and served the purpose of having somewhere comfortable to sleep. I did find the room cold at night, however when I asked the porter for another blanket it was brought to the room straight away. I would recommend the hotel. Vienna is a beautiful city and will even be more special to my partner and I, as we got engaged whilst there :-).

Long weekend in Vienna.Posted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: Clean, friendly, accessible location, good value (two of us had small single rooms which were good; two had larger rooms which were excellent)
Cons: Rooms with baths could possibly benefit from having shower curtain - but not urgent.
Location: Around the hotel it appears a bit rough and there is not much to do. However the Prater station is very close by and the public transport is excellent
Hotel is very good - the neighborhood is not great but is only 5mins walk from really good transport links (Praterstern). Staff were friendly and very helpful. We had not booked breakfast in advance but had it in the hotel 3 out of four mornings - very good. We bought Vienna Travelcards which gave us 72hours travel - really excellent transport system and really excellent vfm. Viennese people were very pleasant; there is so much to see and do - we were particularly interested in history, culture, music an local beerhalls.
