“Pretty good price and service”

It is located in an immigrant working class neighborhood. You're within a few minutes of walking from the tram station (south of the hotel, tram 43 and 44). You can take the tram to the city center or the U station nearby. I walked to the city center most of the time and it wasn't too bad of a walk at all. Staff are friendly. The breakfast is excellent. Overall a good deal for the price.

“Affordable choice”

It's a cheap and comfortable one. No internet is a drawback.

“Just what we needed...”

A great place for a few nights in Vienna! Our room was very spacious and clean - but the bathtub had a bit of mildew. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. And, the breakfast was great - lots of choices and a pleasant dining room. It is very easy to get to public transportation - both the U-Bahn (metro) stop (Alserstrasse) and the Strassenbahn (streetcar) are very close and run frequently. You can buy metro tickets at a nearby Tobacco Shop, but I don't see any advantage?

“great location”

Nice inexpensive hotel, with a friendly stuff, and a great location not far from the city center with around the clock (24 hours) of public transportation! For that price, I doubt that you can find anything better.

“OK for a budget traveler”

Good hotel for the price you pay. Affordable, clean with very good breakfast. Hotel is old with thin wall (we had to take our baby outside when she was fussy so we don't wake the entire floor) and the sink faucet was broken but they had it fixed that day. No wireless internet but accessable at partner hotel 2 blocks away. A 10-15 mins walk from train station and 30-45 minutes commute to downtown. I was disappointed that they refuse to refund us the remaining night we didn't stay because we were able to find a flight out after the volcanic ash incidence.

“Out of city center, but fairly accessible”

Assuming you can find it, this hotel is actually not bad. The area surround and outside of the building doesn't look great, but the rooms are nice and breakfast pretty extensive. If you don't mind being a little out of the way, this is a good option.

“Basic hotel for a short stay.”

Not in downtown but good transportation facilities nearby. Should have internet available for guests.

“Great hotel for a savvy traveler”

The hotel is located on a semi-quiet street and is about 10 mins by tram to the city center (near Hofburg). Walking will take about 20-30 mins. Location wise, it is not bad. The rooms are clean with old decor - no ac! The breakfast was excellent for the price we paid. Over all, this hotel is a great place to stay if you are on a tight budget. By the way, ask for a fan at the reception if you are there during summer and there is none in the room. Beware of mosquitoes, too.
