Close to transport and facilities. Quiet.Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Proximity to transport. Quiet. Good facilities.
Cons: Free internet.
Location: Good public transport. Cafés etc
Helpful staff. Disappointing to have to pay for the internet and to be able to use it in a very restricted area. Nice breakfast. Rooms and facilities were good.

Good hotel close to subwayPosted Apr 30, 2014
Cons: Short beds.
Location: Supermarket near by.
Local railwaystation/metro is right across the side-street. But I preferred to use another metro station in about 200 metres other way because it's more convenient and trains go much more often. Good supermarket across the street about 100 metres away. Good breakfast buffet.

Hotel is in a very good Location.Posted Oct 8, 2013
Very 70's style rooms, but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is extremely good with a wide choice on offer. Close to all public transport and facilities and only a half hour's walk from the Old Town. Not all staff were friendly or helpful, but the others more than made up for it! Extremely bad internet connection and sometimes nothing at all, but the price is worth the few inconveniences.

Good location for easy transportation all over Vienna. Very basic but adequate. Some desk staff very helpful while others were not at all. Good continental breakfast

Great value and friendly staffPosted Jul 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Hotel Mozart is situated just outside the old town area of Vienna but very close to the metro stop (2 blocks). This is nice because it takes no more than a couple stops before you reach the old town section. The staff were friendly on all accounts, and the breakfast (standard Euro) was fresh and varied enough to keep you satisfied before heading out for a day of exploring. The rooms are a bit dated (but the hotel is old itself). But it's not bad at all. The fresh foods for breakfast, the friendly staff, and the proximity to public transportation make it worthwhile. The neighborhood is fine - lots of Turkish influence everywhere. Definitely recommended place for affordable lodging without being too far (about 1.3 miles from innere stadt).

Decent hotel for the pricePosted Jul 10, 2013
Pros: Room size, proximity to underground, price
Cons: No air con - pretty stuffy in the afternoon/eve. Would preferred to have been closer to city. Also noisy street.
Location: Not the closest to the centre but easily accessible via tube. Better option is the bike hire stand right outside the hotel - great ride along canal.
This is a reasonable hotel at a good price. Friendly and helpful welcome when I arrived. Decent buffet breakfast and free wifi included in the price (though signal reception available only in lobby - not in room). My room was a big twin (I was travelling alone). Thankfully I was not badgered by the cleaning staff in the morning which can happen in some over zealous hotels. Clean, tidy. The underground is less than 5 minutes away and there are a few restaurants nearby and a couple of big supermarkets. The area is not spectacular and as there is a big train station next to the hotel a lot of people loitering around but seemed perfectly safe to me. Getting to the city is easy - pay 2.10 euro and a few stops later and your are in the city centre. You get a map on check-in. Airport connection straightforward - take S7 train to Wien Mitte (I think this station also has another name!) and change to the underground for a few stops - dont do what I did and try to get to the hotel direct from a S train station or if you do print off the correct map first!! There is an Asian food place a couple of minutes away - great snack-type food and free wifi. And a small patisserie - nice coffee and friendly staff. Register for the cycle hire scheme before you go (you can register at a street terminal but bit fiddly). You can then cycle the canal into the city which is a great way to get around and some interesting sights.

Pros: The name
Cons: Lack of wifi in the room, very small tv, the grumpiness of some of the staff
Location: Easy access to the city centre
The hotel would have been very grand in its time but is now looking a little worn. But it was clean and tidy and reasonably priced for what it was. The tv in the room was so tiny you could hardly see it, and while one member of staff was wonderful all the other staff were less than friendly. There was only wifi in the lobby not in the rooms. We had a car but there was no free car parking at the hotel and it was a faff to sort out parking. The breakfast was adequate. It was a good location for public transport with an underground station very nearby.
