Didn't buy upgrade.Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, good position next to train station.
Cons: Building is tired. Needs an update.
Location: Belvedere Palace close by and Russian Church. Long walk to Vienna center.
Booked good price through Expedia. Arrived at Hotel and staff politely attempted to on sell breakfast and room upgrade. When I rejected we were placed in a room with a leaking shower screen next to the noisy cleaners room. Also, room heating was poor.

Trip if a life timePosted May 21, 2015
All my life I have wanted to see the Spanish Riding School. A dream I never thought would happen as I live in Australia. I did get to do the trip of a life time and coincided it with my birthday to go to the performance. At the end of a perfect day I came home to find a bottle if Champagne in my room with a plate of Petrie fours from the staff. I was over whelmed by there kind thoughts. The staff are lovely and speak English . I loved the photos on the walls in the halls and the decore. As a horse lover I found the Hotel the perfect place to stay. The bathroom is amazing. The shampoo is fantastic as good if not better than the salon bought shampoo I use. The beds are great and we slept well as it was in a quiet street with the station not far away .

Schönes Hotel mit sehr guter VerkehrsanbindungPosted May 19, 2015

Beautiful hotel close to the RingPosted May 16, 2015
Recently renovated. The breakfast buffet was included and on the first day it was phenomenal, as nice a breakfast as I have ever had. On Day 2 we came downstairs around 9 and we must have entered as a group left because nothing was left. The staff was working frenetically to clean up but they weren't restocking the buffet. It was almost as if they had given up. We had had a perfect stay to that point so I just attributed it to bad timing. Just an unfortunate goodbye.

Amazing hotel so friendly and helpful, full breakfast good choice of food to suite all! The only downside which ended up being a blessing no wifi in room unless you pay but free in the lobby! Great location for trams and trains into centre took 10mins. Would stay again it also had a pool and sauna!

Cons: Tja, Zimmer bzw. Bad etwas "modernisieren"
Also das "nette Abschluss-Wort" fehlte.

Not a business hotel if you want to work onlinePosted Jan 25, 2015 on Hotels
No complementary wifi is stupid in this day and age, the prices were silly, but maybe this is just Eien or Austria in general although many other hotels of a similar standard do offer it
