“Simply Fantastic”

Fantastic location if you travel by train. The hotel seems brand new and it's right on Mariahilfer Shopping district. You can take the Subway and be at the Stephansdom in minutes.

“Staff over-the-top with assistance”

Not only was the hotel itself excellent, but the staff was overly helpful with advice, directions, and other help.

“Best Hotel in Center of Vienna”

Hotel is new, clean and built in the contemporary style. Located very closely to Vienna touristic attractions, as well as, shopping area. Good restaurant and friendly atmosphere. It is also close to affordable parking places if you are traveling by car (ask in hotel reception).

“Great hotel - just a little noisy”

The hotel is very nice but ask for an inside room if possible as it is noisy at night. There is no air conditioning but they do provide a fan. The breakfast buffet was the best of all the places I've stayed in Europe. The hotel gives a free card for using all the trams and buses - with a main station a block from the hotel. Great street for shopping.

“Reasonable price and nice extra's”

Also stayed at Intercity in Dusseldorf on this trip. Nice chain of hotels with reasonable rates. Courteous staff. This hotel also provided free passes for public transportation although this was not advertised on Expedia. Rate included bfast, which was a large buffet with American and European flavor.

This hotel is right in the center of everything; the staff is helpful and pleasant; the rooms are comfortable. Would stay there again.

“Good Location in Wien”

This hotel is right around the corner from the train station (Westbahnhof) on a side street so that you are less exposed to street noise. Also located in the heart of the shopping district and a pleasant stroll down to the Museum Quartier. Room was spacious with nice floor plan and clean.

The best feature of Intercity Hotels is the free public transportation pass.

Loved the location, the hotel . My only grudges is the lack of airconditioning. Would go back, but only when the weather is on the cool side.
