Staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. Location couldn't be more central. The contemporary art throughout the hotel makes for an interesting decor. Look for discount prices on the internet. Prices at hotel bar and restaurants are high.

Excellent hotel in town centrePosted Jul 22, 2014
Very helpful and prompt staff, free mini bar which was topped everyday. On check in they gave us a free roll up bed for my 4 year old. Gym swimming pool. Very close to tram, bus and underground. Restaurant expensive but lot of eating options nearby.

Nice hotel, so close to everythingPosted Jul 7, 2014
While the hotel itself was very nice, comfortable, clean and modern - it's location was the best part. On our first evening there we decided to just take a walk around to see what is nearby and I was surprised to find that the Opera House, the shopping district, St. Stephen's, the Albertini, Hofburg Palace, the Naschmarkt etc; were all within a decent walking distance (even for my fellow traveler who has a bad knee). I'd heard that the Free Wi-Fi in the hotel was really slow and was anticipating much frustration over this. While, true that if you're trying to stream movies etc; it seemed that this was very much the case (unfortunately for insomniacs trying to keep themselves entertained in the dead of night) - it was perfectly fine for keeping up with email and other social media posts.

Beautifully renovated central hotelPosted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Position in centre of Vienna. Large comfortable rooms.
Cons: Blind at bathroom window and a normal door to bathroom - instead of obscured glass door, which meant that the bedroom was never dark.
Location: Opposite The Opera House and main shopping street. Very near to Tour Bus stop.
Le Meridein is a beautifully renovated hotel, in a mainly modern style. It has a perfect position in the centre of Vienna for sight-seeing and shopping. The reception staff are particularly friendly and helpful. The cost of drinks in the bar are very reasonable for such a high class hotel.

Very modern interior, close to city centre.Posted Jun 8, 2014
Pros: Friendly multilingual staff, room faclilities, that shower.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: Right by the Opera House,Karlplatz Metro Staion,Museums and shopping centre and NaschMarkt restaurants.Hard to beat location.
We're seasoned old travellers and found this an excellent hotel with friendly ,young ,multilingual staff. Room was large, very modern and well equipped with an amazing shower. We didn't eat in the restaurant but had room service several times which we thought was good value for money. The staff were all delightful and spoke English with ease.We would go there again without hesitation.

More in funky town!!Posted Jun 1, 2014
Pros: The Moet staff and Hotel Facility Manager were magnificent.
Cons: Some might be affronted with so much glass in the bathroom.
Location: Sensational location, so many food and drink options available within easy strolling distance and returning to Le Meridien felt like going home.
Street view and location suggests formal and staid Vienna, a step inside gives the senses a pleasing jolt. All you would expect of a 4+ star hotel but with a real edge to it but no hint of anything other than top service and comfort. Mirrors, lighting, gloss and art everywhere and elevator music that gets your toes tapping. The most comfortable bed in the world! Free mini bar and WIFI are excellent points of pleasant difference. The all glass, spacious bathroom was a source of amusement which we got used to after a few raised eyebrows.

Great locationPosted May 30, 2014
Pros: Location was fantastic. free minibar. free wifi
Cons: our room had what appeared to be a full size bed and for my wife and I it was way too small.
Location: you can find everything close by, coffeehouses, restaurants, transportation, museums and shopping. great central location.
The hotel is located in a central location and you can walk everywhere. The hotel was quiet, clean and modern. We picked this hotel primary because of its locations and it was perfect. Restaurants, coffeehouses and shopping all within a couple of minutes walking distance.

Great but not perfectPosted May 30, 2014
The location, style, amenities, service and comfort make this hotel really nice BUT if you cannot tolerate any tobacco smoke--stay away. In fact, if you hate Tabak period, you may want to avoid Vienna. In fairness, the hotel has smoke-free rooms and areas, but where it is allowed it carries distinctively and obnoxiously (Le Moet cafe comes to mind--just by the main elevators). Also, the staff speaks ok English, but don't trust it completely.
