Excellent hotel for a very reasonable price.Posted Nov 17, 2013
Recommended in every respect, good and easy access to public transport, large rooms with comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Perfect really. Just one tiny nuisance, the room maid would frequently forger to replenish coffee and teas in the room, leaving you a bit unhappy in the morning when you discover that there is nothing to make a hot drink with.

Close to metro, 10 min from central ViennaPosted Oct 7, 2013
Hotel Reception was understaffed on the 4 occasions (3 days) I waited for help including check in & out and staff were generally not able to give information I would expect. The night reception guy was however great on the phone! Room was fine, up to normal standards. Great for being close to city and a good mall on the U1 (metro). 5 min walk away. Small Supermarket was 1-2min walk away in the same block (breakfast was not included, so this was a cheaper option for me)! Free wifi which was good.

New, comfortable, well equipped, attentive staff.Posted Sep 23, 2013
Cons: The quality of the "souffle" in the restaurant and bigger portions or side dishes included with the main meal.
Location: Its 7 minutes from 2 metro stations and a bus station. You can take the Hop On/Hop Off bus and go sightseeing 8 minutes from the hotel. Billa.Market.
An overall excellent experience in Vienna. The staff is extremely professional and courteous. The facilities look new, extremely well kept, clean and organized. The room was spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, a nice firm yet fluffy bed with extra pillow stored in the closet. Spacious desktop with dataport, free wifi, telephone, electrical plugs and minibar. The bathroom was very spacious, stocked with body soap, shampoo, hand soap (tangerine scented), bathing sponge, shower, long tub, retractable clothesline, towel rack, soft towels and a shower head that you can move up or down to suit our height/preferences. Look around in in Expedia for great offers on this hotel. The restaurant had an incredible breakfast with anything you can dream of, 7 types of cereals, fresh fruits, 6 kinds of fresh juices, cheeses, salami, salad, 7 kinds of fresh baked breads, 3 types of yogurts, a variety of jelly/jams, milk, coffee on every table, sausage, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, bacon, baked beans, coffee cakes, carrot sticks, squash sticks. All for 20 Euro per person but if you ask on the front desk when you check in you will probably get a special for your first morning (I did). The restaurant offers a variety of foods and the bar has all kinds of drinks for your enjoyment. The restaurant and bar staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall, If we go back to Vienna, we are definitely staying at the DH Danube Citiy again. Its about 7 minutes from the metro station!

nice hotel, good position, helpful staffPosted Jul 23, 2013
Pros: Staff is very helpful and friendly, room are clean and confortable, nice bathroom.
Cons: The appearance of halls and doors is a little tired. A parking place could be useful, or u can park in the street.
Location: Nice location, not too far from the center, close to Danube and Prater.
Nice hotel, the halls look a bit strange but the rooms look great, very clean and confortable. Has no parking place, but u can park on the street, just in front of the hotel and it looked safe. We liked most the rooms that are clean and confortable, nice bathroom, great bed. The walls could be more soundproofed, but it wasn't that intrusive.

Beautiful hotel in good locationPosted Jul 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is beautiful and the rooms and very clean and nice. The hotel isn't right downtown, but Vienna is pretty small so it's easy to get to the downtown area. The train is close by too to get to and from the airport. Room service was expensive (as it usually is) but the food wasn't that good. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel. Free wifi was nice!

Exceptional hotel at the heart of ViennaPosted Jun 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed at NH Danube City hotel for a convention and this hotel surpassed my expectations in every way. The rates were so economical and the front staff were always so professional. The hotel is located next to Alte Danau, so I really enjoyed going for a stroll on a boat when I had free time. It is also reachable by metro and airport shuttle bus. I particularly liked how close it is to the Vienna international convention centre and the UNHQ, as well as a supermarket for some shopping on the side. The only thing it lacks may be a decent restaurant nearby but the area is super quiet and clean. I will go back to this hotel if I'm ever visiting Vienna again! :)

Good business standard hotelPosted Apr 26, 2013
Pros: Bedroom and bathroom size and design, quiet neighbourhood
Location: Close to VIC but not much in surrounding neighbourhood
A good business hotel, this is about a 10 minute walk from the Vienna International Centre and the Austria Centre. I had a superior room. The bathroom was large with a powerful shower and good toiletries. The bedroom was a good size and nicely decorated. Very quiet which was great. Free wifi was good, a solid connection, though a bit irritating to have to collect and apply a new password every 24 hours. The restaurant was a bit overpriced for the quality of food and could have offered a slightly wider selection of foods. There isn't anything interesting in the surrounding area other a useful supermarket to buy cheap breakfasts and the VIC (and subway station).

OKPosted Apr 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
Standard business hotel, not terribly cheap and slightly dated decor. Advertised "free broadband internet" was throttled to 128kbps, slow enough for most web pages to time-out before they loaded -- essentially useless.
