Nice hotel near the Red Line metroPosted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: Location and price
Cons: Room furnishings
Location: Good location, a 5 min walk to a Red Line Metro station.
Very helpful English speaking staff. Rooms are a bit aged, aging furniture, carpets, CRT TV etc, but good sized rooms. Breakfast was as you can expect at a Holiday Inn/ Premier Inn.

The hotel is looking a little tiredPosted Jun 5, 2014
Pros: Comfy Bed!
Cons: Probably needs a spruce up
Location: We thought the location was too far away from the middle of the city but as we go used to the train system it was OK to get away from & back too.
The hotel is a little tired but still an OK place to stay. Breakfast was good without being great. The staff were good, but a few smiles would not go astray.

Comfortable hotel in central ViennaPosted May 24, 2014
Pros: Friendly, welcoming staff.
Cons: The air conditioner didn't work leaving the room too hot, which is common in European hotels and I've been told they turn them off centrally.
Location: It's a short walk to the Belvedere. There's an underground stop close by. The rail station is over the road but it is still under construction.
This hotel was affordable and comfortable. The room wasn't large but it was still pleasant. The street traffic noise was loud but the double doors on the balcony sound-proofed the room. The hotel feels safe and a little bit luxurious, but it's in a seedy part of town which no doubt will improve once they finish construction of the new railway station across the road.

Nice hotelPosted May 12, 2014
Pros: Clean and quiet
Cons: bigger shower cubicle. a kettle to make tea or coffee in the room.
Location: location very few minutes from city centre
The hotel is a few minutes walk away from the Belvedere Palace, with its attractive gardens and the excellent Klimt exhibition, and about 4/5 kilometres (c2.5 miles) from the many attractions of the city centre. Transport links are excellent with buses, trams, undergound and trains all available within a few minutes walk. The rooms are small but adequate for a short stay. They are clean, well decorated and come equipped with fridge, and air conditioning . The bathroom is small and the shower will flood the room if not very careful. The breakfast was good both for its variety and its quality.

Included breakfast was excellent. Parking garage is maybe 2K away, down a long hill. It is much better located than the hotel. Room was small and divided by an unnecessary door. This required us to step around luggage all the time. The hotel is on a busy street and if the door to the balcony was open for air, traffic noise kept us awake. Staff was very helpful.
