“just what we needed”

My wife and I recently stayed at Roomz for a few days, and we would recommed this hotel for anyone taking a short break. It was clean and well maintained, and the staff very friendly. The room was ideal for a few days, but a little basic for any longer. Make sure you share with a good friend, because the shower/sink area of the bathroom has no door. The bar area, which stays open to 1am was very good, with professional bar staff, and a good place to spend the end of the day. The gasometer metro station is just 2 minutes walk away and then its 7 stops (12 minutes) into the heart of the city. A cab to the hotel from the City in the evening was Euro12. Parking is available in the Gasometer multi story car park (1 minute walk away)at just Euro2.70 for 24 hours.

“modern contemporary hotel”

This hotel opened in July 2007 and is very modern with some nice features in the rooms. The colors are pretty wild, but fun at the same time. Bright greens, purples, blues. Location is outside the old center but an easy drive or you can take the subway for 11 euro. Room is air conditioned which isn't guaranteed in europe. Parking is on the street or you can pay for the garage. I was very pleased with my stay.

“Best service in Vienna”

They went above and beyond with me. They let me check in early 11AM. Their front desk is staffed with excellent English speakers. My first day was really rough and they helped me call home. The waitresses were super nice and friendly. The restaurant food reasonably priced and tasty. Their breakfasts were great. I would definitely stay here again! The rooms were clean and the beds comfy. The A/C was great since it was still summer in September.

“Good location for exploring”

The hotel is not far from the U-bahn station and amenities at the Gasometer City (restaurants and sundries). Rooms are small and spartan, but adequate for a place to sleep while exploring Vienna. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful (and spoke English). We were there just two nights while passing through to Slovakia so it met our needs, but probably would like something with a little more room and amenities if staying for a lengthier period of time.

This is a good value for money hotel, clean and friendly. It could do with extending the wi-fi (provided for free) from the Bar and Restaurant area to the rooms. The quality of breakfast is very good and the staff very helpful

“staff not friendly”

Hotel is nice.Just 100 meters from the gasometer train station, which is not too far from the center of the city.Rooms are small but clean.But the staff is not friendly, they are like least bothered., not helpful(even if you ask directions from them they would like as if that a great favour they are doing on you)

“Inexpensive and close to everything”

This hotel is not located in the heart of Vienna, but it takes les then 15 minutes to get there. There is a big mall with movies and shopping adjacent to the hotel. Bar is open 24 hrs. The rooms are quiet and clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful

“good hotel would stay again”

Hotel only 2 min walk from the (U3) Gasometer City station, which makes it easy to go anywhere in Vienna. Rooms are great, very modern. Only thing missing is a mini bar, however its really no problem as the bar adjacent to reception is open until 1 am. The restaurant had very nice food and the staff were very attentive and spoke english well enough for us to communicate. Reasonable sized shopping centre down by the train station where you could go and get practically anything. Nice little place there to get coffee and pastries for breakfast as we did think breakfast at the hotel a little pricey. Overall a really great place to stay and if we were to go back to Vienna would definately stay again.
