Great hotel for families
Posted Jan 8, 2013
Pros: Kitchen and living areas
Cons: Everything was OK
Location: Good location, good transportation
It´s great for several days. Breakfast and dinner can be eaten in the apartment, saving money, especially for familes. We eat granola, fruit and coffee for breakfast at 7 and nothing is open. The location is nice, easy access to public transport. There´s no hairdryer in the room . When I asked about it I was offered one, but as I was on my was out I never saw it. The kitchen is nice and the living/dining area ample.

Pros: Price, location. easy access to public transport and food shopping
Cons: Nothing to report hear
Location: Excellent
The hotel was well placed for easy public transport and for ebike access. Use. It was close to shopping for groceries. There Were enough utensils for meal preparation. The cooking Facilities were stainless steel making cleanliness easy. The reception staff were very polite, spoke English, in our case Helped with booking 2 events on their computer and phone. We would certainly stay there again and our Expedia Rate was very reasonable for our May visit .

A Bargain for Travellers
Posted Jan 30, 2013
Pros: The complete facilities for in room service combined with the more than reasonable price. A bargain!
Cons: Trying to get a taxi to the airport and the lack of air conditioning. Our room was also over a bar and the noise was constant after midnight
Location: Great location but don't take the CAT. You will stil need a taxi and it will cost over 20 euros in addation to the cost of the CAT from the airport
Great hotel especially for the price range. We were more than pleased but the room needs air conditioning. The only glitch was the fact that the taxi that the staff reserved for us on our final day did not show up! This was not the fault of the staff but I would recommend that they find another taxi company if this was experience by other guests. The result was that at 6:30 am my wife and I had to run to the nearest main throughfare to hail a taxi to get us to the airport in time.

An excellent alternative to a standard hotel
Posted Jan 24, 2013
Pros: Having a well-furnished suite instead of a standard room.
Cons: The tiny elevator is a nuisance, and when the shower broke, it didn't get fixed that day.
Location: Nicely close to the center of things, without being in the congested part of the Mittelstadt. Good nearby restaurants, with relatively low prices.
For a city break, it is lovely to stay in a small aparrtment, with a sitting room and a small kitchen, with a key that allows easy after-hours entry. The desk staff is OK, and there is an excellent self-service tea and coffee service all day until 6 pm. And the price is right. One word of warning: the hotel's website doesn't make clear that there are two hotels: this one and a sister hotel about 4 blocks away, which is a quite expensive standard hotel with luxury services. Hence, the list of services and facilities turns out to be for the other hotel. The apartment hotel clearly realises this bit of misleading advice, so when we requested the hair dryer, bathrobes, and slippers which we had expected (as per the website), they were immediately supplied.

Great Value!
Posted Jan 14, 2013
This is a great apartment hotel. Rooms (sitting room, kitchen, bath and bedroom) were spacious, clean and highly functional. The nearest U Bahn station is the Rathaus - which would have been easier to have used to find the hotel than their directions from their site involving the tram for the last part of the journey. There is a Billa mini-market at the end of the road opposite the hotel. When the reception is open 0700-1800hrs there is a self service complimentary coffee and tea station for guests. The kitchen has a mirowave, two hobs, fridge (with mini freezer area), dishwasher, sink. Cutlery, crokery, glassware and cooking utensils. Everything you need to make a meal. Corkscrew, sewing kit and hairdryers available from reception. I can assure you the older reviews about springs in beds and bad lighting were not in evidence. There was a coffee table book and two novels: one in English, one in German. Bathroom has towels; far better than recent chain hotels I've stayed in; soap for the hand basin and soap/shampoo for the bath and shower. Great value! If you are travelling from the airport to the City take the City Airport Train (CAT): 19euros return; 16 minutes running twice an hour. On the return check your hold baggage from the train station to your destination with major airlines.

Clean, compact and centrally located apartment hotel. The sofa bed in the living area was unfortunately very uncomfortable.

An Awesome Find
Posted Jan 12, 2013
Conveniently located in the inner city, just a short walk to Rathaus metro train station and within easy walking distance to the Museum Quarter and Stephansplatz. The apartments are spacious and warm and have everything you need. Free tea and coffee is also provided. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location
Posted Jan 28, 2012 on Hotels.com
We were happy with our stay. Pros: great location - only about 5 blocks away from the Rathaus plaza which had the largest holiday market in Vienna. The subway is even closer, with access to multiple stops. There's also a bar/restaurant next door with cheap pizzas and burgers where we ordered food to go. Nice bathroom. Decent bed in room separate from living room, which had a pullout couch. Hotel staff was really helpful and spoke solid English. They made cruise reservations for us and called a taxi when it was time to leave. Cons: tiny kitchennette, but typically European. Dishwasher and refrigerator were not good, but serviceable. Reception is only open until 6pm, so if you need anything after that, you have to call the sister hotel which is about 5 mins away, but we didn't do that. If you arrive after 6pm, you dial the sister hotel and then you get buzzed in and are given a code to a lockbox which has your key in it. Unfortunately, they forgot to put our key in there. But they brought someone out 10 mins later to get us one.
