Location: very good location, right near a metro station.
Mio, the receptionist was awesome. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants and was very helpful. Also the rooms were giant.

Convenient Location

Posted Jun 5, 2014
The hotel is conveniently located between the centre and Schonbrun Palace on the main shopping street of Mariahilferstrasse. It's 5 minutes walk or 1 tram stop from Westbanhof station which is served by an airport bus, 2 tube lines and several tram lines which means you can get everywhere easily. This compensates for the fact that the hotel is just outside the centre, the station being the centre's edge. There are plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants both on the street and at the station. The hotel rooms are very spacious, quiet and comfortable and cleaned 7 days a week, This is an old building as you can tell from the inner garden, long corridors and high ceilings, but fully renovated. It appears to be a favourite with older Austrian couples as I could see both at the hotel and at a city centre bar where guests are offered a welcome drink. Really enjoyed my stay and definitely recommend the hotel.

Nice, cheap hotel close to shopping street & train

Posted Jun 4, 2014
Cons: Door handles were sooo difficult to open!!!! Practically dreaded having to open our door!
Pleasant staff, nice location (walking distance of downtown if you don't mind a good 15-20 minute walk!), close to food, shopping, very close to Westbahnhof train station.

Good location for all areas of Vienna.

Posted May 24, 2014
Pros: We liked the typical Viennese decor and ambiance. The staff were very helpful and good at giving us information and directions.
Cons: The main light in the room could have been a little brighter.
Location: Austrian food available from Mariahilf nearby, a bakery opposite for breakfast, a nice mediterranean, called Sato on opposite corner. Trams outside.
We stayed at the Tourotel Mariahilf for one week mid May. The hotel was clean, with pleasant staff and was very convenient for shops, eateries and only 5 minutes walk from the Westbanhoff station, which is the central station for trains, underground and trams. We walked along the Mariahilfer Strasse towards the Museum Quartier and found lots of famous name shops. Good location for getting to all the sights in Vienna once you get familiar with it. We had a pleasant stay and would stay there again.

Nice hotel, big rooms, very good location,

Posted May 23, 2014
Pros: location, shops, stuff, rooms
Location: Close to the restaurants and super market, it's on one of the main shopping streets
Friendly and helpful stuff, very clean and big rooms, 5 minutes to the train, metro and 20 min walk to the down town. 50 min (7 euro one way ticket) from the airport with the bus to the Europlaz and from Europlaz 5 min walk to the hotel. Close to the restaurants and super market, it's on one of the main shopping streets. If you want a taxi to the airport, it's 45 euro (25 km), the amount is fixed, you can pay on the reception. The receptionist will order it for you 24 hours before.

Convenient for he Center

Posted May 10, 2014
Pros: Hotel fine, room 219 was dark and just looked at a concrete wall.
Location: The restaurant (Austrian Bar) has a great atmosphere, food and beer good at a fair price. Great staff.
We found the door locks confusing. The very helpful cleaning girl explained how it worked the best.

Good value hotel; rapid travel to city centre.

Posted May 4, 2014
Pros: Comfort; convenient location.
This was my second stay. Room was clean, comfortable, spacious. Desk staff helpful. The hotel has no breakfast room, but you can buy a token for the next-door restaurant, which offers a good-value buffet breakfast. ATM, internet cafe, supermarkets, cafes nearby. Conveniently located: 600 metres on foot (or 2 tram stops) to Westbahnhof rail station, from where the metro takes you to the city centre in 5 minutes.

the nearest place to shopping street)

Posted Apr 28, 2014
Pros: the best relation price/location/comfortability
Cons: the access cards quality. it takes more time to get to nice bed)
Location: of course shopping street. Direct line of subway from int. bus station. Few min from subway station and train main station.
It is nice place for different people who do not looking for glamour place and 5 star service. All you need is there: clear rooms, separated bathroom, nice view through the window, old building with high ceiling and big windows. of course WiFi at lobby is a little boring but this place is not for hipsters. This place for travelers. And for sure shopping street is in 10 min walk.
