Conveniently placed close to A10 for an overnight stop good restaurant on site was a bonus. Restaurant Staff very professional and pleasant and excellent entrecôte steak served. Tea and coffee available in the room was very welcome and unusual in France.

very good best western
A really nice hotel, but took us two attempts to get there following copying and pasting to maps. Clicked on the link within the app which then took us to the correct place. Love the sofa in the room and tea/coffee tray.

Terrible drain smell emanating from the toilet in the room . Smelt like a sewer every time we opened the door ,causing the bedroom area to smell.

We'll be back!
We stayed again - second time this year. We can't fault the place or the staff, but it would be nice if the restaurant was open on Sundays and Mondays too (although they provide a good list of restaurants within 15km).

Brilliant stay in a hotel close to the motorway
We had two small dogs with us and we were allocated a chalet opposite the hotel. This was ideal as one of our dogs was a puppy and needed to wee about 4am. We could take him straight out of the door instead of walking down a corridor, using the lift and probably waking other customers. Excellent

Good hotel, good location
Stayed for one night to break up journey between Cherbourg and Dordogne. Great location for this, just off the motorway. Nice communal areas. Breakfast was ok - a bit limited in choice. Room was comfortable - our only complaint is that the doors opened onto a small balcony which overlooked a flat roof with the ventilation unit from the kitchen on it - which was noisy and pumping out cooking smells - so we had to keep the doors closed, despite the warm weather.

Lovely place in the woods. Staff are great.
Turned up at the hotel after a long journey and was met by a lovely lady on reception (Kate, I think). She checked us in and booked a table for dinner for us. No hassle at all. Room was great and very quiet, they are also very good with dogs. Dinner was really good as was breakfast. We will be staying again, in fact I am going to book again for our return journey back to the UK.

I have stayed there on my way to and fro from my house in Carcassonne for the last 4 years at least a couple of times a year. I think the standard has decreased in this time. Also, it was very disappointing that the restaurant is not open on a Sunday. For a hotel to offer zero food seems unreasonable. Especially as most people are breaking long journeys and don't wish to get back in the car to go in search of a meal and find somewhere open. The places recommended by the concierge were both closed.

Cute site for a basic hotel stay
The hotel is allright, located in a quiet wood, near the major roads. The park in which the hotel is really lovely and there seems to be a nice swimling pool (not.opened at the time of our stay). The room comfort is decent. Cheap bathroom with separated closet for toilets. Our main deception came from the fact no one cleaned the room and changed towels during the day. We expected at least that someone would come and fold the sheets, empty the garbage etc... The breakfast buffet is really good though. Overall it's a 2.5 * out of 5

Perfect stop off for journey down to Spain
Perfect stop off on way down to Spain. All aspects first class - reception, service and restaurant. Very dog friendly with large grass field next to hotel for exercise.

Hotel is in a very good location to get on and off N10 and parking is free. The room is nice but the bed was very uncomfortable and I had the worst nights sleep. Had paid for a king size and it was 2 single beds pushed together. The breakfast was very poor but only because it was not replenished as no staff around, by 830 am there was no hot food left or plates , cups etc. I mentioned this at check out but no one was interested. The restaurant is closed on Sundays. We had planned to eat there that evening ( one of the reasons I booked this hotel) as we were arriving late, however I received an email after I had booked to tell me it would be closed that night. Would not stay there again.

Disappointed about paying to park the car
We had a nice stay. However, we think as we were in the centre of a town and as there wasn't much street parking available, that we shouldn't have had to pay to park our car in a secure place.

Friendly and handy hotel
A very pleasant stay after our drive from Calais. The reception staff were very helpful and the restaurant opened at 7pm which was a bonus as we has been on the road since 7am.

110 Euros for two people with a decent breakfast, free parking and a pool within 10 mins drive of A10. Pleasant reception staff. Room was decent but no water or tea/coffee and only one towel provided. Bed was good and there was an additional single.

Great place to stay not far from Poitiers and easy access to the N10. Our room was spotless and. Good size for a family of 4. We were staying for 11 nights and agreed a day for the room to be cleaned midway . Unfortunately this didn’t happen. Generally a nice place to stay.

Only stayed one night travelling from Spain, room massive and clean although the whole hotel is a bit tired and old, but adequate for what we wanted... A quiet nights sleep, great grounds to walk the dog and reasonably priced. We didn’t eat at the hotel although restaurant very busy. Receptionists lovely welcoming and friendly. Hotel just needs a paints and spruce up. Would stay again

Excellent value for money
Outside looks a bit run down but inside isn't . Good sized room for three of us with extra proper bed for my son which was great instead of sofa beds! Bathroom had walk in shower which was lovely and separate toilet. With the temp at 40 degrees so pleased to have air con Because of Covid had to ask for extra pillows and hospitality tray but all delivered so no problem there. Staff really helpful.. Pool a reasonable size - mainly full of children! Evening meal was excellent although a little pricey. We didn't have breakfast . Booked very early so got a really good price for the room .Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great Hotel!
I really liked this hotel, although I should have told the staff that my bed was too firm as I discovered from another guest that padded mattress toppers were available. Otherwise, the hotel is great & I'd stay again
