May use this hotel again as satisfiied in general . Staff friendly ,polite and helpful.

“Ideal Hotel for Futuroscope”

The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, and our room was as requested (two connecting rooms). The restaurant was OK but a bit pricey (cheaper and more choice if you eat in Futuroscope itself). The hotel was full of families with children, all presumably visiting Futuroscope! The hotel was ideal for this - just a 10 minute walk or short (free?) bus ride from the park. However there is NOTHING else around, so unless you are going to Futuroscope or intend simply to remain in the hotel, go somewhere else.

“A Good Base”

The Hotel reception staff were very helpful. Room was fine, but we thought the foyer/bar area was pretty poor. The same staff seem to be running both the restaurant and the bar, but they were at opposite ends of the hotel. The swimming pool needs revamping, and the changing rooms were below average. Having said all that,it was a good base for Futuroscope Parc (Approx 10 mins walk from hotel, although there is also a bus shuttle service).

“Felt like staying on an industrial estate.”

We spent one night here while breaking up a long drive to the South of France. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and modern however its location left a lot to be desired. Unknown to us Futurescope is a large science based theme park about 10km outside of Poitiers. This hotel is in a purpose built group on hotels on the edge of the park. The area was souless and lifeless. There was nowhere to go or eat outside of the hotel. We arrived in the afternoon assuming we would be staying in a town and thought we could spend a few hours sightseeing and having dinner. Instead we spent 40 minutes walking around a deserted university campus and industrial estate. I would have preferred to stay somewhere with a little life and character.
