I recommend if you don't mind the party noisePosted Jan 3, 2012
Pros: location, view, lobby, bed and the breakfast was great
Cons: shower fitting was rubbish
Location: great views of the Mekong
This hotel is in a great place overlooking the Mekong. Our room was next to the local restaurant and nightclub so it was very noisy until 11.30pm when everything stops. Lovely big spacious room.

Can not get back soon enough !Posted Nov 30, 2011
Location: The area near this hotel. Lots of great food within easy walking.
My sort of hotel. Huge ammounts of expensive hardwoods used in the construction, Lots of great antique pieces in the public areas. Staff so kind & helpful. I had a great river view from my room. Almost 10 out of 10, but we dont want it too perfect !

Location is the decisionPosted Nov 6, 2011
Location: Central location in one of the streets just off the front.
Good hotel with all the required amenities except an in room safe. Very central location - so excellent if you want to be in the heart of the action and do not mind noise until late evening (23:30 hr). If you want quiet this hotel is not for you.

Mekong view with individual decorPosted Oct 30, 2011 on Hotels.com
This was a lovely hotel in a great location on the river bank and right by the night market there, with a decor and ambiance probably best described as 'quaint'. I loved the beautiful antiques both in my room and throughout the hotel. On the down side, the air-con needed maintenance (it occasionally dribbled water) but was effective enough. There is a loud disco next door with annoying 'doof doof' music that can be heard clearly but ended early on the night I was there. The staff were happy to move friends of mine to a quieter room.

"Mediocre Hotel"Posted May 26, 2011
Great location right in the midst of the night market and main tourist district. Breakfast buffet is very mediocre. Rooms are big and spacious but air conditioning had issues. Ours stopped working and we had to move rooms. The new room didn't have hot water so we had to sleep in the room with air conditioning and shower in another one.
