“Basic Hotel in Vilnius”

This hotel is a good, clean basic hotel in Vilnius. It is a few steps from one side of Old Town, which makes it quite a good location, but not central. Some of the items in it's description, however, are not entirely accurate. The rooms ARE clean and extremely basic, but with NO air conditioning. Since our room was a southern exposure, and with only one window, it remained quite warm all evening. The buffet breakfast was minimal with no frills or extras. The food supply was not replenished when needed. The staff was quite friendly and always had a smile. They spoke English, as well. All in all, our stay was OK. I do not think, however, that my family and I would choose to stay here again. The price was comparable to some of the other Old Town hotels which have a more central location and better amenities for the price.
