The staff were amazing...love their accents too! no complaints really...the location you have to go around back. the first sign that you see is not the hotel it self it is actually a government building 13. The hotel is around the corner in the back 13A its easy to find though.

The Litinterp is an amazing, hidden gem tucked down a side street in the main part of the old town.
My room was warm and cosy with a great view and the location just couldn't have been better - I was only a few minutes walk from some of the best restaurants in town.
The staff were truly outstanding, super friendly and fluent in English. They helped me with booking a taxi to the airport for a very early flight and with maps and any other advice I needed.
The breakfasts are also worth a mention - you get to choose what you would like from a continental style breakfast list and it is left outside your room at a time of your choosing. I was very impressed!
Very, very highly recommended. The Litinterp represents excellent value for money!

So I visited Vilnius In June 2014 with my girlfriend. Le Merdian hotel was clean and staff were helpful especially a lady named Stacia.
The setting around the hotel is perfect for those wanting to escape city life being located around 16km from Vilnius.
Food in the restraint is amazing & perfect for those who fancy a romantic sunset dinner with quality service!!
Bedrooms were also comfortable and generously sized.
My partner & I will most definitely return here, also loved it!!

I arrived early (12pm for a 2pm check-in), sweating from a long, hot walk from the central bus station. The receptionist was able to get me into a room at that instant. The restaurant was really good, too. This is a typical business hotel, but for a leisure traveler, it is a great value, located right downtown.
Lithuania had been experiencing a heat wave; the room was not air-conditioned (something Americans take for granted), but the room was cool overnight.

The hotel is in the old city, close to attractions and there is plenty of public transportation around. I liked the fact that it was quiet (it is inside a circular wall); the breakfast was excellent. The hotel people helped me get from the airport to the hotel late at night because my flight was very late; I emailed the hotel and received immediate replies to all my emails. I was also advised on how much to pay f I wanted to take a taxi on my own.
Everyone was well informed at the main desk; everyone speaks English, including the guardian, so it was easy to communicate.
It happened that it was chili at night and I asked if the room could be heated: I was immediately offered a heating device. The space inside the wall is clean, the grass is well mowed and pretty; in addition, one can have lunch and diner within the walls, in the same restaurant that offers breakfast (which is included in the hotel cost). There are tables/chairs to seat in the small park too. A beauty parlor is available for women in one of the buildings.
Rooms are very clean...the shower worked well; there are plenty of towels.
The internet worked also well...which does not happen in Cincinnati hotels, for instance!!!
And there is also a room refrigerator with various drinks and products. The laundry service is not expensive. I did not see an iron for ironing oneself. I had a plug adapter for my computer, so I don't know if the desk carries any.
I highly recommend this place!

I have just returned from a long weekend with friends at Skapo and found it the perfect place to stay for a trip to Vilnius.
The service when we arrived was good with the lovely lady who greeted us couldnt speek a word of English and us Lithuanian, did manage too make us feel welcome.
The rooms are nice with good amenities. Free wifi is good also to stay innloop with the news back home.
The location is what steals the show for the Skapo. It is located down a quite street in the old town with no noise to keep you up at night and sits betweentwo of the biggest tourist attractions - the palace and cathedral. Everywhere on the town is no more than a 5 min walk!
Grat place to stay with a fantastic location!
