“Superb Hotel”

This was a lovely hotel,that was superbly furnished,with many fine paintings throughout.The bedrooms were named after authors,and ours was a delight,being tastefully furnished,with a really comfortable bed.The staff were really friendly and helpful.The situation is right in the old part of Vilnuis which is,which is extremely convenient,and it only took 20 mins.to get there from the airport--admittedly at 11p.m.There was a very cosy bar,and my only disappointment was that they did not stock a low-alcohol beer or lager,since I cannot drink alcohol due to the tablets that O must take for rheumatoid arthritis.We recommend the hotel unreservedly.

“Top notch hotel”

In a nutshell,the location is spot on for sight seeing (1 minute from main old town drag); the rooms are big and luxurious, food excellent & service impeccable. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Good food is a available all day. The only downside is that if you are not a book worm, there is else nothing to do in the hotel. Overall, as a top quality base, I could not fault the Shakepeare.

“Nice retreat in Vilnius”

The hotel is a nice relaxed place with a fantastic breakfast area and good food. I also love the fact that they dont put an extra charge on the expresso! The only big downside I saw as a business traveler was that the Wifi left a lot to be desired as I could hardly connect and when I finally got a connection I would lose it in minutes. The decor of the rooms was an interesting one and charming one with each room having its own charm. And the not numbering the rooms but naming them after various famous legends is a chic move! Would recommend it to anybody!

“A haven of peace just around the corner from a busy restaurant and nightlife area.”

A beautifully kept and staffed hotel with deilghtful treasures of books. Excellent breakfasts.

“Special experience”

The hotel has some quite charming features, a very good location and a nice - but not particularly cheap - restaurant. At my rooom the heat did not function properly, and there was cold draft directly at the bed.
