Decent price, but unclean and noisy
The employees are very helpful and positive. They are a stellar team! Unfortunately, this does not make up for the state of the hotel. I was disappointed when I got to my room, to find the sink clogged, several lights in the bathroom out, and the door lock not working properly. Of course, this made me anxious as a solo female traveler. I reported this and they did take care of the issues in decent amount of time. However, there was a large dog beneath my room barking for about 30 minutes straight. I went to the front desk to tell them and they moved my room for me to a quieter one, which was much appreciated. Overall though, the carpets are caked with strange stains, the bathrooms and old and there is mold growing on the ceilings, and the doors are so heavy that they slam when they shut, and the can easily hear this from the other guests. The elevator was also out during my stay, which poses a problem if you have heavy luggage or are disabled. I would not recommend if you would like to feel clean and safe. It’s unfortunate because the service was so great.

Excellent, would stay here again
the staff here were fabulous and went out of their way to be helpful. I would definitely stay here again as they were so good. Also, plenty of free parking outside the Hotel. The rooms are a bit dated, particularly the bathrooms but it does have everything you need, fabulous water pressure in particular. I don't like paper cups - would be better to have china cups and wash them up - instead of just throwing away the paper ones and the silly 'stirring sticks'. The location of the Hotel is perfect for access to the airport and in my case, my trip to Antwerp University for work.

Needs referb
Hotel in great location, close to motorway, & airport, reception ok, rooms could do with complete referb, very hot small room, had to have window open all night, not great as close proximity to trains & airport. Filthy carpets, mouldy bathroom ceiling. few spiders lots of cobwebs, would'nt stay here again.

Budget stay for a budget price
Quite worn-down hotel - in order to close the bathroom door you need to lift it, otherwise it gets stuck. No toilet brush, carpet under the beds not clean.

Having seen the area, I decided to stay 2 nights and half day, including the day I arrived and I have been charged the four nights. I never seen anywhere!!! Beside I have been obliged to pay municipality tax for 5 nights (15 euros), 3 euros per night. This doesn’t make any sense !!! I will never come back in any campanile hotel ! I even considering to fill a complain against the hotel

Very handy for train station and town centre (Vilvoorde). Free secure parking. Lovely quality and range of food at dinner and breakfast. Helpful staff. Although rooms and corridors are ageing, the facilities are very good.

good nights sleep ( 10 night stay)
great staff, very good food ( not fine dining but very acceptable ) and bar with larger beer on draught, bed comfortable, unbelievable powerful shower, hold on tight - it will blow you over if not, lots of free secure parking, train station 2 mins walk with direct trains into the city centre (15 mins) and other mainline services, airport 10 mins drive, rooms clean. Very comfortable stay, staff very helpful and friendly Hallways dark red carpets and lighting could be improved if being critical, lighten up the colours and would change the overall feeling

Your hotel need update
Sorry, but this hotel need serious updating. Room doesn’t smell very good, carpets are old, bathroom really need update, in out kids room the fan didn’t stop, toilet didn’t flash properly, last day we didn’t have a hot water, only luke warm to take shower. When we come there, room were very cold, until you heat then up with electric radiator it took while. No fridge, no double bed ( 2 singles pushed together are not double) . No comfortable mattress. When you leave hotel you have to put code to open bar from parking, sometimes 5-6 time until it’s open. We wouldn’t come there any more.

The receptionist was extremely rude, the room smelt like a wet dog, the carpet was wet and disgusting. I would not recommend this hotel and will be putting in a formal complaint about it and asking for my money back

Served as a good base for accessing Brussels which was a 10-15 min train journey away. Not the warmest of rooms in December however! A draft came through the window & the heater didn't work...
