Pros: Great staff on the desk ,speak english and had good recommendations for local resturant's.
Cons: Breakfast was simple but tasty ,cooked eggs like omlettes and scambled were charged at £6 extra!.
Location: looks out onto the bay and try the two vecnicles that cut down the steep steps up to your hotel from town.
Took an age to find hotel though tiny roads up and down this lovely town. Only 3 parking spots in very tight area.

Very old, historical but beautifully refurbished.Posted Jan 26, 2014
Pros: Historical, very comfortable, close to everything.
Cons: The menu should have an English translation for those who don't speak Spanish. Hotel expensive for those on a budget.
Location: Central, and the ascensor El Perel brought one right into the Plaza Sotomayor, the main square. Also other areas, restaurants and shops were close.
Close to Plaza Sotomayor, the main plaza of Valparaiso by using the ascensor. Restaurant at the hotel was very good but only one suggestion - there should be an English translation on the menu. If we did not understand Spanish, we would have been completely lost. Staff were outstanding and very accommodating. Amenities were great and the room comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great location, mediocre roomPosted Jan 4, 2014
Pros: The people
Cons: the facilty itself needs and update
Location: On the hill, overlooking the harbor
For the price, I had expected a five star experience, but it was far from that. The hotel is an old palace. It does not contain period furniture (except one unused room), but the decor is minimalist modern. It doesn't quite work. It seems unfinished and incomplete. The building did sport a spiffy new paint job so it looked terrific from the outside. The room was small. A glass panel above the door allowed light from the corridor to enter the room making sleep difficult. The facility does not have air conditioning. The breakfast was adequate, but not great. The people were wonderful, warm and friendly.

Good hotel in a special neiborhood of ValparaisoPosted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: The place it is located, is comfortable indoor with nice view
Cons: Parkiing lot for cars
Location: Very good location close to restaurants and have a chance to walk
Its a good hotel in a nice place with very good condition ( in general, clean, hot water, Preston of water, blanquette etc) If you go by car the street are very narrows is not easy drive a car there and the parking lot is a little bit far of the hotel.

Fantastic hotel, faultless experiencePosted Sep 19, 2013
Cons: Breakfast tables were quite small and a little more space would be welcome.
We only stayed 1 night in this recently opened 5* boutique hotel, but left wishing we had stayed 2 or 3. Even though I later found out that the hotel had only been running for a few months, our whole experience was faultless. Check-in was quick and offered us an upgrade (after we requested). The staff was extremely friendly and interested in interacting with guests. Rooms (and the hotel throughout) were extremely well decorated. The Spa was the cherry on top of the cake after a long day walking on the hilly streets of Valparaiso. Breakfast was amazing.
