“Good place to unwind”

Hotel appears new and is a step above the usual chain hotel. Casino is part of the complex with restaurant and bar for those so inclined. Downtown Miami is a few miles away, lots of restaurants, stores and historic Route 66 if time permits. Better than average continental breakfast.

“Excellent experience!”

Everyone employed at the hotel was extremely nice! Some of the most friendly employees of any stay I've ever had. The beds were extremely comfortable and the breakfast was awesome. We were able to do quick work outs in their small gym. Had a wonderful time and will definitely be going back!

“Nice, but noisy”

The bed is very comfy. Room is nice, but good lucky getting a good nights sleep. You can hear everything from the toilet in the room above you flush to people talking down the hall. Poor insulation.

“Will probably use another motel in Miami, Oklahoma”

The staff was helpful, the pool was clean but cold, however the room smelled of urine. On the last day I took a wet wash rag to see if the floor was dirty and sure enough when i moped the floor with the rag it was quite dirty. The beds were ok clean and comfortable. I think housekeeping missed the bathroom floor. Probably more extensive housekeeping training is needed

“No rest at this destination.”

The walls were thin. We could hear everyone walking and talking down the hallway. The highway noise was loud in the roomas well. A few rooms down, someone had a yapping dog that kept us awake too. The rooms had a peculiar odor.

“Buffalo Run Casino Hotel”

I booked a King bed non-smoking. When I checked in they told me that expedia had overbooked and the only room they had left was a two queen smoking room. They did not even try to fix this. Expedia on the other hand (which I book through all the time and have never had this happen) was wonderful. They gave me a credit for my stay and tried working with the hotel to get me a non smoking room. The hotel after speaking with Expedia called my room and was prepared to kick someone out of a handicap room so that I wouldn't have to be in a smoking room. (I turned that offer down as I am not handicapped and I was not ready to make a handicapped person stay in my room). The beds didn't have fitted sheets so a couple hours into my sleep I was directly on the mattress (as I toss and turn in my sleep). Overall I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone as the service, location, and room was well below average. I do not plan on booking a room there again.
