“Good Clean Hotel”
The service was good room was clean with a nice view of gardens Easy to locate Good location to where I was visiting Would absolutely recommend this hotel
“Great little cozy place..”
Everything was great with the exeption of the Wifi it was not working so I had to go to a cafe to get Wifi. I will stay there aging if I drive by Visalia againg. There was a house keeping lady who was very helpful did not get her name. Place is a bit out dated but that did not bug me.
“Our favorite hotel of the trip.”
This isn't a fancy hotel but has very nice grounds and a certain charm. Out of the 5 motels we stayed in over a week this was our favorite.
“More than I expected”
I wasn't expecting much from this hotel. I had called the day before with a couple of questions and the person answering the phone was borderline rude. However, I went ahead, made the reservation and made a special request for a downstairs room (there is not elevator) as I was traveling with my 85 year old mother. When I checked in, I reminded them about my special request -- no problem, they had put both of us on the groundfloor. The rooms had coffee makers, microwaves and fridges, plus sliding glass doors with small benches outside each. The pool is huge with plenty of seating. The landscaping is really lovely.
“would definately go back”
This hotel is convenient for Sequoia National Park. The grounds are kept up very well and it is quiet. The room was clean and available for early check-in. Staff was friendly and restaurant next door opened early and served till 9 P.M. I would stay here again.
“Charming Little Inn”
This was a very quaint litlle Inn with lots of charm. The staff was nice during check in and check out. The rooms were clean and the area was quiet. There is wifi in the room and throughout the grounds. The fact that there is a restaurant/diner adjacent to the Inn was a plus. My family and I were pleasantly surprised.
“Would definitely stay there again”
The rate for our room was reasonable and the room was very nice. We enjoyed the garden area, the pool and the facilities in general. When we arrived, on motorcycles, the men at the front desk were very helpful. They changed our rooms to rooms where we would have a view through the window of the bikes rather than to have the bikes parked where we would not be able to keep an eye on them. There is a nice restaurant on-site with reasonable prices and friendly servers. The only complaint I have, and it's a very small one, is that the front lobby area was out of regular sugar for the coffee service. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and are hoping to stay there again next year if we are able to attend the annual motorcycle run in Visalia.
“Beautiful Setting”
If you enjoy friendly service in a beautiful setting at a great price, this is the hotel for you! There is a large heated pool and the grounds are full of flowers and tables to sit and relax. If you want easy access to your car for unloading request a downstairs room with a backdoor to the parking.
“On the way to Sequoia”
Great Location. A bit pricey for the older accommodations.
“Older place but clean and nice”
We stayed three nights for a business function and found the Lampliter to be a very good value for the money. The hotel is older but very well maintained and the pool and surrounding landscaping was excellent. This is not a "party" hotel but the bar and restaurant are ok on the premises but I suggest if you wish a cool refreshment and a quick sandwich, the sports bar across the highway is a better choice.
