Great location, BUT...Posted Jul 2, 2015
Hotel is located directly across from the Waco (TX) Convention Center & was reserved because of this, BUT, other than superficial room refurbishing the rest of the 3 night stay was memorable only in a NEGATIVE way. I've already covered the nightmare of our late night check-in & the problems encountered, so, I won't reiterate here. Additionally, during our stay multiple evidence of NO cleaning of the room came to light. Specifically, a jeweled, ribbon sash or headband & a pen from an out-of-state hospital were found between the bed & 1 of the bedside tables. Also, debris from the coffee service were visible from behind the cabinet on which it was placed. There was no ice bucket though there was a large ice machine near the elevator & no tissues were either in the room or provided later. We only had towel exchange, etc. on 6/27/15, but it took three (!!!!) trips to deliver towels, coffee supplies, & remove the trash. The room was serviced by housekeeping in our absence on 6/28/15, but no additional coffee or coffee supplies were left. I'd stayed here multiple times in the past, but I will NOT be back again in the foreseeable future. The Waco Hilton is on the other side of the convention center & will have my business next year when our group again returns to Waco for our annual state-wide meeting. Positively, the desk staff was nice, polite, & seemingly eager to listen to our phone-related woes.

Nice hotel close to zooPosted Jun 21, 2015
Pros: Location. Name brand. We have always liked Courtyard by Marriott.
Cons: Internet or adjust room charge if it is not working. Monitor pool noise after 8pm.
Location: Loaded on Washington in Waco very near Cameron Zoo which one of the best zoos in Texas, especially for families with young children.
In room Internet was not working. I called desk and lady said they were having a problem with I. She gave me an 888 number to call for tech support. I called four times. Busy each time. The problem was not with my iPad or PC. Both connect just fine. Second problem is kids in pool at 9:30pm making o much noise we could not get to sleep. I called desk and reported it and they did solve that problem. But they should have done that long before I had to tell them to do it.

Nice place for the money.Posted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: great air conditioning.
Cons: Make people aware the place is under renovation, that way they can anticipate it.
Location: We just booked this as a stopping point on the way home from San Antonio.
We arrived late, but the front lobby is currently under construction, so it is a little confusing to get checked in, and the halls smell of paint, but the room was extremely clean.

Good hotel, clean with good friendly staff.Posted May 3, 2015
Overall a very good experience.. The breakfast food was not very good.. For a cost of 10.95 it was a very poor. I Would stay in the hotel again but not waste my money eating there.

Good motel, expensive breakfastPosted Apr 13, 2015 on Hotels
Good motel in a good location. Breakfast was expensive considering many similarly priced motels offer free breakfast.

Unprofessional staffPosted Feb 24, 2015 on Hotels
we booked this hotel for its convenience to the convention center. we called the Tuesday prior to our stay to confirm, because we heard there was a water leak in the hotel. we arrived on Friday and were told we were moved to another hotel. so I can't rate the hotel, but I can and will rate the staff, rude and unprofessional. not really sure why they could not call us the next day when it showed we called to confirm and they switched the hotel the next day.

don't do it.Posted Feb 13, 2015 on Hotels
We stayed at this hotel before and wanted to stay again because it was nice and room was comfortable. This stay was not really good for us this time around. the hotel side entrance door handle was broken off the door causing my wife to carry our baby around to the front entrance at night alone.inside the room the ironing board was broken but not to our knowledge we got it out tried to set it up and it collapsed. We asked for a new one and it was broken also. Then as we got ready bed we noticed the comforter had a stain could not tell exactly what it was. In the morning I woken up to the blaring sound of rap music coming from a car out in the parking lot. all of this coming from a hotel the charge me $150 a night for that price I expect things to some what comfortable and quite. Next I'll for that amount of money we are staying at the Hilton.
