“Best Place to stay in Waco area!”

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ramada in Hewitt. We were there for the OU/Baylor game and even though we were from Oklahoma they treated us great. The only complaint we had were the pillows...way to big and thick! Luckly we broght ours with us! We will be staying here again in 2013 for the next OU at Baylor game for sure! Plus a Dairy Queen within walking distance of the hotel. It only took us 5-10 mins to get to the stadium too, another great plus. I would much rather stay on the out skirts of a town than right in the middle of it all, but this Ramada is just perfect for us for that reason, close but not too close to town.

“Small problems, hard pillows!”

The hotel is new, so it's clean, but when we got to our room, the coffee maker hadn't been cleaned, and it was gross!!! There were handprints on the trim--probably from finish workers, but they weren't hard to clean (did it myself.) If you stay here, take you own pillow. I have never seen such huge, hard pillows. Wow. I think I would have required neck surgery had I used their pillows. I will stay again. It's small stuff that I'm griping about.

“Decent place to stay”

Generally a nice, clean new hotel. A bit antiseptic in decor. The "breakfast" was weak with only make-your-own-waffles and a few microwavable bits; coffee was poor.

“Nice room.”

Room was awesome. The receptionist was nice and helpful. The breakfast needed some help. The tables were not clean and the breakfast needed some fresh fruit or more choices. I would have liked some water or ice tea not just juice. The yogurt was the high sugar no protein type. Not a very healthy breakfast. But I'd still stay there because the room was so nice and clean etc.

“Very nice hotel stay”

We stayed at the Ramada oct 28-30 2011.Service was nice our beds were a little uncomfortable and the pillows were very stiff! The room was clean and the employees were very helpful! We would stay there again and I would recommend this hotel if you are staying in Hewitt, Texas.

“convenient and comfortable”

We needed a convenient place to stay after a Friday night football game. This hotel fit the bill. We were there within 5 minutes. The room was clean and comfortable....the neighborhood fair, and the free breakfast had little variety ( dry cereal, waffles that burned). I would not stay here as a destination.

“one nighter”

Hotel was very clean, didn't have much interaction with the staff except for the check-in. I was only there for one night so not much I can comment on other than the cleanliness and comfort. The room was comfortable and clean. The only negative I guess was the air conditioner sounded like a 350 motor at times. The hotel is away from the main attractions but not too far so it is worth it.

“Disappointed”

We only stayed one night. Breakfast bar was okay. Hotel looked new, but not so clean inside. Bed comfortable. Poor lighting in bathroom. Several miles south of Waco so this is not a Waco hotel. No internet service that day and no printer at all. Check in girl not overly friendly.
